영문 초록

In (Q,r) inventory model, total cost that consist of setup, holding and penalty costs is a function of order quantity(Q) and reorder point(r). The optimal values for Q and r to minimize total cost can be calculated in an iterative way. A linear regression analysis is applied to approximate total costs without calculating Q and r. We find out that the proposed regression model fits well if the standard deviation(σ) of the lead time demand is small or the mean(μ) of the lead time demand is proportional to σ. A linear regression-based approach is applied to the central warehouse problem that requires to decide the number and the location of central warehouses to cover some stores.
