표준보육과정 보육프로그램 과학 관련 활동 내용 분석

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 표준보육과정 보육프로그램에 수록된 과학교육과 관련된 활동을 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 목표영역에 따른 분류의 경우 3, 4, 5세 모두 과학적 탐구에 해당되는 목표가 많았고, 하위영역 중 ‘물체와 물질의 기본 특성 알기’에 해당되는 목표가 많았다. 둘째, 활동자료는 3, 4세의 경우 ‘기본도구’가 가장 많았고 5세는 ‘물체와 물질의 특성 및 움직임과 관련된 도구’가 가장 많았다. 셋째, 교사의 언어형태의 경우 3, 4세는 ‘지시적 언어형태’, 5세는 ‘격려적 언어형태’가 가장 많았다. 넷째, 접근방법의 경우 3세는 ‘전달적 교수법’이, 4, 5세는 ‘과정적 교수법’이 가장 많았다. 다섯째, 탐구활동과정의 경우 3, 4, 5세 모두 ‘관찰하기’가 가장 많았다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the activities relating science education included in childcare programs of the national standard childcare curriculum. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, in classification according to goal area, many goals fall within the area of scientific inquiry for all of 3, 4 and 5 year old children, and particularly in ‘learning the basic properties of objects and matters’ among the sub areas of scientific inquiry. Second, the most of activity materials is ‘basic tools’ for 3 and 4 year old children and ‘tools related to the properties and motions of objects and matters’ for 5 year old children. Third, the most frequent form of language used by teachers was ‘directive language’ for 3 and 4 year old children, and ‘encouraging language’ for 5 year old children. Fourth, the most frequent approach was ‘communicative teaching’ for 3 year old children and ‘process teaching’ for 4 and 5 year old children. Fifth, the most frequent inquiry activity was ‘observation’ for all of 3, 4 and 5 year old children.
