긍정적 행동지원(PBS)이 특수학교 정신지체 학생의 문제 행동에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 특수학교 전공과에 재학 중인 정신지체 학생의 행동에 대한 긍정적 행동지원 중재의 효과를 규명해 보고자 하였다. 문제 행동을 나타내는 전공과 정신지체 학생에게 행동에 대한 기능적 평가를 실시하고 환경사건 중재, 선행 사건 중재, 대안 행동 교수 중재와 결과행동 중재를 하였다. 연구 설계법으로는 행동간 중다 기초선 설계방법을 이용하여 중재의 효과를 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 긍정적 행동지원 중재는 학교 및 가정에서의 대상 학생의 문제 행동 감소에 비교적 효과적이었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of positive behavior support(PBS) intervention on problem behaviors of a student with mental retardation in special school. The target behaviors were slapping either his own face or head, out of seat behavior during computer class, and masturbation (touching his genital organ) during his free time at home. The functional behavior assessment led to the hypotheses for problem behaviors in natural context like computer class at school and leisure time at home. The positive behavior support of setting event, antecedent, alternative behavior, and consequence behavior intervention were designed using multiple baseline design across behaviors. The frequency of student’s problem behavior was measured using interval recording. The results of the study were as follows. First, the positive behavior support intervention resulted in a reduction in the frequency of slapping and getting out of seat behavior in computer class at school Secondly, the positive behavior support intervention helped the student with mental retardation to reduce the frequency of problem behavior at home. Follow up studies were recommended with different categories of subjects with disabilities for generalization of PBS intervention.
