통합어린이집에서의 언어치료 지원내용 및 지원방안에 대한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 장애유아 통합을 시행하고 있는 어린이집에 근무하는 전문가들을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하여 장애유아를 담당하는 통합교사에게 필요한 언어치료 지원내용 및 지원방안을 연구하는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 교실 내에서 제공되는 언어치료를 경험한 바 있는 통합교사와 언어치료사, 원장, 총 13명을 대상으로 질적연구를 실시하였다. 분석 결과 다음과 같은 3개의 주제가 도출되었다: 1) 언어치료 전문가의 지원, 2) 행정적 지원, 3) 제도적 지원. 본문에서 면담에 참여한 전문가들의 구체적인 인터뷰 내용을 제시하였고, 통합 어린이집에서 필요한 실제적인 언어치료지원에 관하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Recently, more children with language delay have been integrated into inclusive preschools, and increased attention has given to provide speech therapy within the integrated environments. Thus, traditional pull-out speech therapy method needs to be modified to meet the needs of the current system. The purpose of this study was to investigate the needs of teachers and the current state of speech therapy provided in the integrated settings. Thirteen professionals who have been working in the integrated preschool settings participated in the study: three directors, seven teachers and three speech-language pathologists(SLPs) from three day care centers. In-depth individual interviews were used for data collection. Participants expressed their opinions on inclusive education practices for children with disabilities, and described their experiences on pull-in speech and language therapy. The open-ended questions were developed to guide the interview. The transcripts were analyzed by the constant comparative method of qualitative analysis and then three themes were emerged from the analysis: 1. needs of teachers in educating children with language disabilities; 2. experiences of the participants in pull-in speech and language therapy; 3. recommendations for future speech and language program providers in the inclusive settings.
