국내 미술교과교육의 학문적 연구동향 - 학회지를 중심으로

국문 초록

  미술교육 관련 전문학술지인 「조형교육」, 「미술교육논총」 및 「미술교육연구논총」에 1984년부터 2005년까지 발표된 논문의 연도별 추이, 주제별 동향 등을 조사하였다. 학회지 발간이 시작된 1984년부터 1991년까지는 매년 10편 내외에 논문만이 발표되었으나 1992년을 시작으로 연간 발표 논문 편수가 꾸준한 신장세를 보여 1999년도에 이르러 50편대로 급격히 늘어온 이후 최근에는 80편 내외의 발표 실적을 보이고 있다. 주제는 교과교육학이 교과내용학에 비해 4배 정도 많으며, 내용별로 보면 교수ㆍ학습, 미술교육 이론철학, 미술과 교육과정 및 교과서 등의 순의 발표실적을 보이며, 전통미술, 아동미술, 미술교육 행정ㆍ환경 등의 분야의 실적은 미흡한 것으로 조사되었다. 연구대상의 학교 급별 실적은 초등미술교육, 일반, 초ㆍ중등, 중등, 대학순으로 집계되었다. 연구방법은 서술적 연구, 실험적 연구, 역사적 연구, 철학적 연구순으로 발표 빈도가 나타났다.

영문 초록

  To analyze the research trend of the art education, survey of six hundred eighty four papers published on “Art Education Review”, “Art Education Research Review” and “Journal of Art Education” during the last two decades has been conducted. The classification of papers is done by the yearly records of publication, by the theme, by the objects and by the methods. Since three papers had been published in 1984, the number of publication has increased continually. In 2005, the total number of papers published in the three journals is 81 and, in the near future, more than 100 papers are expected annually. The art education instruction is the most predominant theme. Recently, there are ascending trend in the other subjects such as art education theory and philosophy, art curricular and textbooks, art appreciation, and so on. The number of papers related on the studio art and the art history and theory is one quarter of that on curricular art education area. The portion of the papers related on the elementary school education is 34% followed by general, elementary and middle, middle and high school and university. One area that leaves something to be desired is special education. The portion of papers, which used descriptive method, was about 68%, followed by experimental.
