국문 초록

詩文選集은 수많은 작가 및 작품들 가운데에서 일정 수량의 작가와 작품을 제한적으로 선발해야만 하는 특성을 가지므로, 편찬자의 비평의식과 문학 활동의 경향이 총체적으로 투영된 집합물이라고 할 수 있다. 이 논문은 詩文選集의 자료적 가치와 息庵이 편찬한 다양한 詩文選集들을 일차적으로 주목하고, 이러한 選集 편찬이 그의 문학적 사유 및 당대 문단의 경향과 어떠한 영향 관계를 형성하였는지 밝혀내려 하였다. 息庵의 선집 편찬에 있어서 가장 근본적인 목적은 바로 배우고 익힐 수있는 문학의 전범을 제시하는 것이었다. 그래서 그는 選集의 필요성 및 학습효과의 가치를 주장하며 選集의 편찬에 의의를 부여하였다. 또한, 식암은 넓고도 다양한 자신의 독서 범위에 바탕하여 성격이 현저히 다른 시문선집들을 편찬하였으니, 이는 그가 다양한 문학의 전범을 제시하여 어느 한 쪽으로 치우친 학습을 경계하였기 때문이다. 息庵은 부단한 학습을 통한 창작 활동과 인공직인 형식미를 중시하고 또 추구하였기에, 그가 왕성한 선집 활동을 펼치며 많은 문학의 전범들을 제시한 것은 당연한 결과였다고 할 수 있다. 식암이 독자적으로 편찬한 시문선집들은 당대 문단의 경향에 민감하게 부응한 것이면서, 동시에 그 당시 문인들에게 창작의 전범을 제공하여 문풍을 이끌었던 역할을 담당하였다고 하겠다. 17세기 다양한 문풍이 시도되었던 당시의 문단 상황을 염두에 둘 때 식암이 편찬한 다양한 경향의 시문선집들은 그 자체만으로도 가치가 인정된다고 생각한다.

영문 초록

The selection for poems & proses is the collection that included overall critical opinions of the editor and tendencies of a literary movement, because has special quality that must select restrictively writers and works among great many writers and works. Even if don't know the editor that played an active part in the field of creative literature, we can grasp critical opinions of the editor and tendencies of a literary movement by considering a intention and a standard for selection, a form of system. As well as, through a tendency for selecting works, we can guess a fashion style of the literary world at that time. And through a selected writer and a quoted collection of works, we can grasp a reach for reading. By editing a selection for poems and proses, the basic aim of 'Sikam(息奄), was to present the standard of literature that could learn it. So, insisting on the necessity of a selection and the value of learning effect, he gave consequence to selecting works. Also, Sikam(息庵)'s reading was of very wide range. and he edited different selections. The reason was that he kept to the middle path by presenting various style of literature. Sikam(息庵) was important to a creation and a artificial beauty of form through learning hard. His scientific accomplishment was reasonable results. Studying this manuscript, Sikam's original selections was satisfied with a tendencies of contemporary literary world. he led trends of a literary by presenting the standard of literature man at that time. Considering of 17C that was attempted to change a style of the literary world, the value of Sikam(息庵)'s original selections is recognized as itself.
