『農巖集』 所載 <雜識>의 構成과 批評樣相

국문 초록

본고는 『農巖集』에 所載하는 <雜識>의 [內篇]과 [外篇]의 體例와 撰述態度, 그리고 비평양상의 몇 가지 예를 규명한 것으로, 향후 <雜識>의 전체적인 연구를 위한 試論的인 성격을 갖고 있다. <雜識>는 [內篇一]·[內篇二]·[內篇三]·[外篇] 등 네 편으로 구성되어 있고, 네 편에 총 410條目의 記事가 수록되어 있다. 물론 <雜識>는 완전한 詩話集으로 자리매김하기에는 부족하고, 『農巖集』을 편집하면서 농암이 찬술한 다양한 個別記事를 편집자의 의도에 의해 장르에 따라 분류하여 창작 연대순으로 배열한 雜錄으로 볼 수 있다. [內篇一]·[內篇二]·[內篇三]은 농암의 나이 28세(1678년)에서부터 57세까지 찬술한 것으로 개별 기사의 내용은 四書와 三經·性理大全에 대한 註釋과 考證, 人物評, 性理學, 理氣論, 雜說, 陰陽·理氣·人心道心에 대한 논의, 經說, 佛家와 儒家에 대한 논의, 人物評, 『春秋』에 대한 考證, 『論語或問』과 <小註>에 대한 고증 등으로 되어 있다. [外篇]은 農巖文學을 이해할 수 있는 詩文論과 雜錄을 중심으로 기사를 서술하였다. 네 편의 각 편에서는 찬술한 시대순으로 배열하였고 찬술한 연대를 정확하게 표기하였다. 찬술한 연대를 정확하게 상고할 수 없는 기사는 반드시 “以下未詳何年所錄”이라고 표기함으로써 기록의 사실성을 더했음을 알 수 있다. <雜識>의 性格과 批評樣相을 규명하기 위해 原論批評類 記事, 考證批評類 記事, 比較批評類 記事, 評語批評類 記事 등 네 가지 유형을 설정하여 분석해보았다. <雜識>는 기존의 농암 연구에서 텍스트로 많이 활용되었지만, 주로 [外篇]에 수록된 詩文論을 糾明하는데 편중된 경향이 있었다. 향후 <雜識>의 연구는 먼저 [內篇]의 세 편에 수록된 다양한 기사를 통하여 농암의 四書와 經學에 관하여 논의되어야 할 것이고, 아울러 다양한 批評 分流基準을 설정하여 [外篇]에 수록된 개별 기사의 비평양상을 좀더 精緻하게 고찰해 보아야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

This paper made a close investigation into the whole composition, a writing attitude, and criticism aspect, of [Naepyun] and [Oipyun] of in 『Nongamjip』 taking as come concrete examples, which has taken on the character of a current view(trend of opinion) for the research all over in the future. is composed of [NaepyunI]·[Naepyun Ⅱ]·[NaepyunⅢ]·[Oipyun], in which total 410 articles are contained throughout the books. Of course, though leaving something to be desired in taking its position as a complete illustrated collection of poems, it can be regarded as miscellaneous notes which classifies various articles written by Nongam, while editing 『Nongamjip』, according to genre by the intention of the editor and arranges them in chronological order. [Naepyun Ⅰ]·[Naepyun Ⅱ]·[Naepyun Ⅲ] were written by Nongam during the period of 28 years old(1678) to 57 years old, and the contents of each article are composed of the explanatory notes and historical research about 「the Four Books and the Three Classics」·「Sungridaejeon」, personal criticism, the argument about Song Confucianism, Yigiron, unorthodox, the positive and negative·Yig· Insimdosim, the argument & personal criticism about Gyungseol, Buddhist and Confucian, the historical research and unorthodox about 『Chunchu』, and the historical research about . The articles of [Oipyun] have been written centering around the poetry & prose and miscellaneous notes through which one can understand Nongam's literature. Each chapter of 4 volumes is arranged in the order of the age when it was written, and the exact age of each one is indicated too. The articles, which their exact date of being written was not confirmed, are marked “the work being not confirmed when it is written”, which has added a reality to the records. The researcher first divided it into the principle criticism article, the historical research criticism one, the comparative criticism one, the comment criticism one, and so on, and then analyzed them to look into the character and criticism aspect of . has been often used as a text in the previous researches in Nongam. but the research tends to be given too much importance to examining the selection of prose and poetry in [Oipyun]. Therefore, the research in should be made about Saseo and Kyunghak through various articles contained in three volumes of [Naepyun], and in addition, criticism aspect of individual articles contained in [Oipyun] after establishing various norms of criticism classification is needed to examine more thoroughly.
