국문 초록

한국 한문학 연구의 가장 큰 비극은 중국이나 일본과는 달리, 일제강점기라는 특수상황에서 조선후기 학술전통이 왜곡되면서 단절이 일어났다는 점이다. 전통시대 한문학자로부터 대학 강단에서 한문학 전통을 전수받아, 이를 근대적 학문으로 탈바꿈할 시기를 갖지 못하였고, 이후 한문학의 전통이 단절된 이후, 전통시대 문학의 중심이던 한문학은 방기된 채 국문학의 주변에 맴돌았다. 이 때문에 한자가 공용어로서의 자격을 잃은 지 100년이 지난 현재, 연구자들은 한문학의 전통을 충분히 이해하지 못하고 있는 실정이며, 한시 유산 자체도 체계적으로 정리되지 못한 상태다. 따라서 한시 연구는, 한편으로 한문학 전통을 회복하는 작업을 서둘러야 하며, 이를 위해서 '실사구시'의 학문 방법론이 필요하다. 이와 함께 현재나 미래를 위하여 한시 유산을 학술적으로 체계화하기 위한 연구 방향의 모색이 요구된다. 70년대 이래 민중, 근대, 민족 등의 화두를 중심으로 한 연구 방향에서, 최근 여성, 생태, 대중 등으로 전환되고 있는 것도 그러한 방향 모색의 일환이라 할 수 있다.

영문 초록

The most tragic thing in the study of Korean Chinese poetry is that the academic tradition from the late Choseon was distorted and broken off through the colonial period unlike China and Japan. We could not have the chance of succeeding the academic heritages from the traditional scholars and transforming them into the modern study. Since the tradition of Chinese literature was severed, the Chinese literature, which was the core of traditional learning, has been neglected in the peripheral area. Consequently, the current researchers can not understand the tradition of Chinese literature and systemize the inheritance of Chinese poetry, 100 years after the Chinese was disqualified as an official language. So, the study on Chinese poetry should take measures to recover the tradition of Chinese literature and need to introduce a methodology called 'silsagusi', which means the attitude of searching for the truth based on the facts. Futhermore, the new academic trial to systematize the heritages of Chinese poetry is needed for the present or future. The recent study showing a new change from the study focusing on nation, modernity, the people to women, ecology, and the masses will be one example.
