국문 초록

이 논문은 한국경학에 대한 연구 현황을 돌아보고 문제점을 지적하는 한편, 앞으로 나아가야 할 向方을 살핀 글이다. 이 글에서 필자는 한국경학 연구의 나아갈 방향을 1) 주자의 설을 비판적으로 수용하여 계승 발전시키려는 경학관을 가진 경학가들의 경학적 특징과 그런 경학가들의 경학적 전통을 추적하는 일, 2)주자의 衆說을 정리하여 定說을 확정하고 후대의 여러설 중 주자의 本意와 다른 설을 分辨하여 주자 설의 정통성을 확립하려 한 경학가들의 경학적 특징과 그런 경학가들의 경학적 성과와 의의를 조명하는 일, 이렇게 크게 두 줄기로 잡았다. 그리고 구체적인 방안으로 다음과 같은 점을 열거하였다. 1) 기왕에 연구되지 않은 다수의 경학가에 대한 연구가 시급히 이루어져야 한다. 2) 한 연구자가 특정 경학가의 경학을 전체적으로 연구할 것이 아니라, 각 경전별로 전문적인 연구가 이루어져야 한다. 3) 중국 경학과의 비교 연구가 함께 이루어져야 한다. 4) 문자학·성운학 등 소학 방면의 연구도 필요하다. 5) 이와 같은 연구가 축적되고 나서 각 경전별로 경학사가 서술되고, 이를 종합하여 한국경학사가 서술되어야 한다.

영문 초록

This is an article upon not only an indication of controversial point into the present research state of the study of Korean Confucianism but also its point of the compass in the future. In this article, for the future course of the Korean Confucianism, I suggested next two items. 1) Tracing the features and the academic tradition of the scholar who tried progressive succession with adapting Chu-tzu(朱熹：1130~1200)'s theories critically. 2) Clarifying the scholar's notable academic features and their academic results and meanings which they shows the method of confirming the established theories after adjusting the public opinion about Chu-tzu's theories or comparing the divergent view with the established view. And I suggested next points for concrete scheme. 1) It should be start the research upon the large numbers of unlighten scholar until this time at first 2) An specialized research in detailed genre of scriptures must be follow, not the integrated researching way by single researcher. 3) The comparative study with Chinese academic tendency is needed. 4) The exegetical or phonetical research is needed too. 5) To describing the history of the Korean Confucianism consequently, an specialized research in detailed genre of scriptures must be described on the base of accumulating the results with pre-mentioned ways.
