국문 초록

본 연구는 확장된 통합기술수용이론(UTAUT2) 모형을 활용하여 치의학전공 학생들의 UBT 도입에 대한 인식과 UBT 수용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 탐색하고, 투입요인의 수준에 따라 UBT 수용의도가 어떻게 다른지 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 UTAUT2 모형에서 제안된 문항을 연구맥락에 맞게 수정하여 치의학전공 학생 86명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 독립변수로는 성별, 입학 유형, 스마트기기 활용 능력, 태블릿 PC 일일 사용량 등의 인구통계학적 요인과 성과기대, 노력기대, 사회적 영향, 촉진 조건, 습관 등 UTAUT2 모형을 기반으로 한 투입요인을 채택하였고, 종속변수는 UBT 도입에 대한 수용의도였다. 수집된 데이터는 t-검정, 분산분석, 다중회귀분석을 활용하여 분석되었다. 연구결과에 따르면 투입요인 중 스마트기기 활용 능력과 태블릿 PC 일일 사용량의 차이에 따라 UBT 수용의도에 차이가 나타났으며, 사회적 영향과 습관 요인은 UBT 수용의도에 정적 영향을, 태블릿 PC 일일 사용량은 부적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 치의학전공 학생들의 UBT 수용의도를 높이기 위해서는 학교 차원에서 스마트기기를 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 환경을 조성해야 하며, 태블릿 PC를 학업 목적으로 사용하도록 유도할 수 있는 다양한 전략이 필요하다는 점을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The aim of this study was to identify the demographic variables and other factors influencing dental students' intention to accept Ubiquitous-Based Testing (UBT) and to examine the variation in acceptance based on these factors. We utilized the expanded Unified Theory of Acceptance of Technology (UTAUT2) framework to assess the impact of input factors on the behavioral intention to adopt UBT. To fulfill the purpose of this study, 86 master’s students majoring in dentistry were surveyed by modifying the items proposed in the UTAUT2 model to fit the context of the study. Independent variables included demographic factors such as gender, admission type, smart device literacy, and daily tablet PC usage, and input factors from the UTAUT2 model such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, and habit. The dependent variable was behavioral intention. Data analysis employed t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. Among the input factors, variations in smart device literacy and daily tablet PC usage significantly influenced the intention to accept UBT. Additionally, daily tablet PC usage, social influence, and habit factors were found to have significant effects on their behavioral intention to accept UBT. To enhance UBT acceptance among dental students, it is crucial to facilitate effective smart device utilization at the institutional level. Moreover, diverse strategies are essential to promote the use of tablet PCs for academic purposes.
