예비-현직교사 학습공동체 활성화 방안 연구: 교육관계자 대상 설문 조사를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비-현직교사의 학습공동체 운영 실태와 제도화 방안을 분석하여, 예비-현직교사의 학습공동체 활성화 방안을 도출하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 17개 시･도교육청 소속 현직교원과 교육전문직, 교원양성기관 예비교사와 대학교수 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였으며, 빈도분석과 교차분석을 통해 발견한 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비-현직교사 학습공동체를 알고 있거나 직접 경험한 응답자는 소수이다. 둘째, 예비-현직교사 학습공동체 운영의 저해 요인으로 “현직교사의 지나친 업무 부담에 따른 시간 부족”, “예비-현직교사 간 수평적인 역할 관계 형성의 어려움”, “예비-현직교사 간 시간 조정의 어려움”, “교원양성기관과 초･중･고등학교 간 협력 및 소통 체계 미흡”의 응답 비율이 가장 높았다. 셋째, 예비-현직교사 학습공동체 활성화를 위한 제도적 방안으로 “예비교사의 학습공동체 활동에 대한 교원양성기관 내 학점 인정”, “현직교사의 업무 경감을 통한 예비-현직교사 학습공동체 활동시간 확보”, “학습공동체 운영 예산 지원”의 응답 비율이 가장 높았다. 넷째, 예비-현직교사 학습공동체의 바람직한 활동 방식으로 “예비-현직교사의 멘티-멘토 활동”의 응답 비율이 가장 높았다. 이상의 주요 연구 결과에 기초하여 예비-현직교사의 학습공동체 활성화 방안으로 ① 예비-현직교사의 학습공동체 인지도와 참여도를 높이기 위한 제도적 접근 추구, ② 현직교사와 예비교사의 학습공동체 활동에 필요한 기본 환경 조성, ③ 예비-현직교사 간 관계성에 대한 숙의 진행 등을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to identify the operational status of the pre-service and in-service teachers’ learning community and derive activation plans. To this end, a survey was conducted on pre-service teachers, in-service teachers, educational professionals, and university professors. The main research results are as follows. First, only a few respondents know or have first-hand experience with this community. Second, as factors that hinder the operation of this community, the highest percentage of responses were “lack of time due to the excessive workload of in-service teachers”, “difficulty in forming a horizontal role relationship between pre-service and in-service teachers”, “difficulty in adjusting the time between pre-service and in-service teachers”, and “lack of cooperation and communication system between teacher education institutions and schools”. Third, as institutional plans to activate this community, the highest percentage of responses was “recognition of credits within teacher education institutions”, “securing time through work reduction of in-service teachers”, and “support for the learning community operation budget”. Fourth, as a desirable activity method for this community, the highest percentage of responses was “mentee-mentor activities of pre-service and in-service teachers”. Based on the above major research results, this study suggested plans to activate the learning community of pre-service and in-service teachers.
