초심상담자의 주호소문제 구체화 경험에 대한 내러티브 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구는 초심상담자가 생애 첫 상담을 준비하고 참여하는 과정에서 주호소 문제 구체화 경험은 어떠한 것인지, 그 경험의 의미를 살펴보는 것에 목적이 있다. 연구참여자는 상담 경험이 없는 초심상담자로 현 상담대학원 석사 3학차 과정생으로 선정하였다. 자료 수집과 연구참여자 인터뷰는 2023년 9월부터 11월까지 총 4회의 심층적인 일대일 면담으로 진행하였으며 Clandinnin과 Connelly(2007)가 제안한 내러티브 탐구로 3차원 공간에서 연구참여자의 생생한 경험과 의미를 분석하였다. 연구결과로 초심상담자의 주호소 문제 구체화 경험 내러티브는 ‘나의 인생에서 첫 상담 준비 과정’ ‘떨리고 긴장되는 첫 상담’ ‘주호소 문제 구체화 수퍼비전 참여 경험’ ‘주호소 문제 구체화 수퍼비전을 실제 상담 적용의 한계’로 주제가 구성되었다. 이러한 연구결과에 대한 의미는 ‘초심상담자의 새로운 다짐’ ‘전문가로 나아가기 위한 새로운 도전’이라고 할 수 있다. 이를 통해 초심상담자가 경험하는 어려움을 이해하는 것은 물론 숙련된 전문 상담자로 성장하기 위한 전문성 발달에 새로운 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the meaning of the experience and what the experiences are like in the process of preparing and participating in the first counseling in their lives. Participants in the study were first-time counselors with no counseling experience and were selected as third-graders of the current Graduate School of Counseling. Data collection and interviews with research participants were conducted with a total of four in-depth one-on-one interviews from September to November 2023, and the vivid experiences and meanings in a three-dimensional space through narrative inquiry by Clandininin and Connelly (2007). As a result of the study, the narrative of the first-time counselor's experience of specifying the issue was composed of 'The first counseling preparation process', 'The nervous first counseling session', 'The experience of participating in the issue of shelter, ‘The experience of participating in supervision', ’The limitations of the actual counseling application of supervision'. The meaning of these research results can be said to be 'a new commitment of a first-time counselor' and ‘A new challenge to become an expert'. Through this, it is intended not only to understand the difficulties first-time counselors, but also to present direction for professional development to grow skilled professional counselors.
