유아교사의 공감능력과 회복탄력성이 놀이실행역량에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사의 공감능력과 회복탄력성이 놀이실행역량에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고 유아교사의 공감능력과 회복탄력성의 중요성을 재인식하는데 의의와 목적이 있다. 이를 위해, 전라남도 및 광주광역시 유치원과 어린이집에 근무하는 유아교육기관 56개소의 유아교사 311명을 대상으로 유아교사의 공감능력, 회복탄력성, 놀이실행역량 설문지를 배부 및 회수하였다. 연구결과, 유아교사의 놀이교육과정 실행역량에 대해 실행역량 전체, 놀이중심 교육과정 이해역량, 놀이중심 교육과정 실행역량 모두 유아교사의 회복탄력성의 하위변인 중 자기조절 능력변인이 가장 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 다음으로 유아교사의 공감능력 하위변인 중 인지적공감 변인이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 유아 놀이중심의 교육과정이 강조되는 유아교육현장에서 교사의 놀이실행역량에 대한 중요성을 재확인 할 수 있고, 유아교사의 자기조절능력과 인지적 공감에 대한 지속적이고 다양한 교육이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to recognize the importance of early childhood teachers’ play execution ability, a comprehensive ability expressed in playing with infants, and to find out how early childhood teachers’ empathy and resilience correlate with early childhood teachers’ play execution ability. This study randomly sampled early childhood teachers working in kindergartens and daycare centers in Jeollanam-do and Gwangju to find out how early childhood teachers’ empathy and resilience affect early childhood teachers’ play execution capabilities. Among the distributed questionnaires, 300 copies were finally analyzed, excluding 11 questionnaires, in which answers were omitted or participants did not respond reliably during the organization process. As a result of the study, it was found that the self-regulation ability variable had the most influence among the sub-variables of early childhood teachers’ resilience in the overall execution competency of the play curriculum, the play-based curriculum understanding competency, and the play-based curriculum execution competency had the most influence, followed by the cognitive empathy variable among the sub-variables of early childhood teachers’ empathy. Therefore, this study suggests that continuous and diverse education is needed to enhance early childhood teachers’ cognitive empathy and self-regulation skills as it can be seen that play execution skills increase when early childhood teachers’ cognitive empathy and self-regulation skills are high.
