국문 초록

본 연구는 시각장애인의 주거 형태에 따라 안전환경의 조성 정도는 다르고, 이러한 주거 형태와 안전환경은 시각장애인의 안전인식에 영향을 미칠 수 있다는 사실에 주목하였다. 이에, 본 연구는 시각장애인의 주거 형태가 안전환경을 매개로 안전인식에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 2019년 장애인삶 패널조사에 응답한 698명의 시각장애인 응답을 활용하여 매개분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 시각장애인의 주거 형태와 안전인식의 관계에서 안전환경은 부분매개효과를 나타냈다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구는 시각장애인의 안전환경을 향상할 수 있는 주거환경의 개선과 주거 형태에 따른 지원 방안의 다각화, 시각장애인의 정보접근성을 고려한 안전환경에 대한 정보제공, 시각장애인의 재난대응정도를 높일 수 있는 교육 및 대피훈련의 개발, 시각장애인 대상 안전지킴이 연계 등의 필요성을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study paid attention to the fact that the degree of safety environment is different depending on the residential type of the people with visual impairment, and that such residential type and safety environment can affect the safety awareness of the people with visual impairment. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the residential type of the people with visual impairment on safety awareness through safety environment factors. This study was conducted a mediation analysis using the responses of 698 people with visually impairment who responded to the 2019 Life of the Disabled Panel Survey. As a result of the analysis, safety environment factors showed a partial mediating effect in the relationship between residential type and safety awareness of the people with visual impairment. Based on this, this study aims to improve the residential environment that can improve the safety environment for the people with visual impairment, diversify support plans according to housing types, provide information on safe environments considering the information accessibility of the people with visual impairment, and respond to disasters for the people with visual impairment. Necessities such as development of education and evacuation drills that can enhance safety, and connection with safety guards for the people with visual impairment were discussed.
