유년시절 놀이 경험이 창의인성교육에 미치는 영향에 대한 대학생들의 생각 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 이전의 경험을 회상하여 자신을 되돌아보고 반성해볼 수 있는 성인을 대상으로 놀이 경험에 대한 인식을 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 창의인성에 관심을 가지고 있는 대학생들에게 개방형 설문연구를 진행하였다. 자발적으로 연구참여에 응한 연구참여자는 257명이며, 부실 응답이 있는 설문 33편을 제외하고 총 224명이 연구참여자로 선정되었다. 수집된 자료를 개방코딩으로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 대학생들은 유년시절 놀이 경험 중 함께 하는 협동놀이를 통해 사회적으로 적절한 행동을 수행할 수 있는 능력을 기르게 되었으며, 다양한 체험 놀이를 바탕으로 자기 자신과 세상에 대한 경험의 폭과 이해가 확장되었다고 하였다. 또 대학생들은 정답 없는 만들기 놀이로 창작성과 자신감이 함양되었으며, 자유롭게 놀이를 변형하는 구성놀이를 통해 융통성 있는 문제해결법을 찾게 되었다고 하였다. 본 연구는 대학생들의 유년기 놀이 경험이 창의인성에 미치는 영향을 살펴봄으로써, 미래 세대인 현재의 영유아가 겪고 있는 놀이 경험을 돌아보게 하고 그 의미를 짚어봄으로써 창의인성교육에 도움을 주는 교육의 방향에 대한 시사점을 준다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

This study examines the perception of play experiences and targets adults who can introspect and reflect on their previous experiences. For this purpose, an open-ended questionnaire was conducted with university students interested in creativity. There were 257 voluntary research participants in the study. Thirty-three questionnaires with poor responses were excluded, and 224 were used in the research. The results of analyzing the collected data with open coding are as follows. University students said they developed the ability to perform socially appropriate behaviors through cooperative play during their childhood play experiences, and thought they learned to understand themselves and the world through these experiences. University students believed their creativity and self-confidence were nurtured by formulating games without correct answers during childhood and that they learned flexible problem-solving methods by freely transforming games. This study examines the effect of childhood play experiences on adult university students' creativity, so they can review the play experiences of current infants and young children, the future generations, and examine how education promotes a creative personality. It is meaningful in that it guides the direction of creative personality education.
