국문 초록

본 연구는 신자유주의 비판이론에 기초하여 유아교육정책 평가척도의 개발 방향을 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 관련문헌을 고찰한 후, 전문가 8명을 대상으로 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 실시하였고, 도출된 전문가들의 의견은 SWOT 분석법과 내용 분석을 통해 정리하였다. SWOT 분석법을 통해 분석된 유아교육정책 평가척도의 개발 방향 내용은 강점, 약점, 기회, 위협의 4가지 내용으로 분석하였다. 또한 내용 분석을 통해 ‘시대적 당위성을 반영한 유아교육정책 평가척도 개발’, ‘새로운 관점에 근거한 유아교육정책 평가척도 개발’, ‘구성원의 요구를 적극적으로 수용한 유아교육정책 평가척도 개발’, ‘지속가능하고 현실적이며 실효성 있는 유아교육정책 평가척도 개발’의 개발 방향을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the direction of the development of the early childhood education policy evaluation scale, based on the neo-liberal critical theory. Literature related to the early childhood education policy evaluation scale was reviewed, so as to determine the correct direction of the scale’s development. Two focus group interviews were conducted, following the identification of eight experts. A SWOT analysis and a content analysis were conducted, to identify the opinions expressed by the experts in the focus group interviews. With regard to the correct direction of the development of the early childhood education policy evaluation scale, the SWOT analysis enabled the identification of four categories, namely, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. When content analysis was conducted, to formulate strategies for the development of the scale, the following four strategies were suggested: “satisfying the requirements of the times,” “developing a well-grounded scale, adopting new theoretical perspectives,” “addressing the needs of different members,” and “developing a sustainable, realistic, and effective scale.”
