유아 성격이 의사결정력과 창의적 행동특성에 미치는 영향력 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아 성격이 의사결정력과 창의적 행동특성에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 목적을두고 실행되었다. G와 J지역 433명의 만 3-5세 유아를 대상으로 성격, 의사결정력, 창의적 행동특성을 측정하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS/PC 21.0을 이용하여 Pearson 적률상관계수를 구하고, 단순회귀분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 성격은 의사결정력과 밀접한 관련을 보였으며 성격 중 성실성, 외향성, 정서적 안정성 순으로 정적 예측관계를 보였다. 둘째, 성격은 창의적 행동특성과도 의미 있는 관계를 보였으며 성격 중 개방성, 외향성, 성실성 순으로 정적 예측관계를 보였다. 결과적으로 유아의 성격이 의사결정력과 창의적 행동특성을 예측하는 중요한 변인임을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between personality in young children and their decision making ability and creative characteristic. The study administered to 433 3-to 5-year-olds the Personality Inventory for Young Children(Choi & Park, 2013), The Children’s Decision Making Ability(Park, 2012) and The Rating Scale for Creative Characteristics of Preschoolers(Lee, Kim & Shin, 2002). The collected data were analyzed by Pearson correlation and simple regression techniques using the SPSS statistics program. The conclusions are as follows： First, personality in young children exhibited a positive correlation with their decision making ability. The conscientiousness, extraversion, and emotional stability of young children showed a positive relation with decision making ability. Second, personality in young children exhibited a positive correlation with their creative characteristic. The openness, extraversion, and conscientiousness of young children showed a positive relation with rating scale for creative characteristics of young children. As a result, personality in young children was a important variable in predicting their decision making ability and creative characteristic.
