국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 어머니의 심리적 안녕감, 자아탄력성, 유아의 자기조절능력과의 관계를탐색하는데 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 U시에 위치한 2곳의 공립유치원과 6개의 사립유치원에재원중인 유아 320명과 어머니, 담임교사 등을 대상으로 하였다. 연구의 목적에 맞춰 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 통하여 신뢰도분석, 기술통계, 상관분석, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 어머니의 심리적 안녕감과 자아탄력성의 모든 하위변인이 유아의 자기조절능력과 정적상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 자기조절능력에 어머니의 심리적 안녕감 요인 중 삶의 목적, 대인관계, 환경통제, 자율성이 영향을 주는 예측변인으로 나타났다. 셋째, 유아의 자기조절능력에 어머니의 자아탄력성 요인 중 문제해결, 자율행동, 친밀행동, 감정조절이 영향을 주는 예측변인으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 어머니의 심리적 안녕감, 자아탄력성에 의해 유아의 자기조절능력이 향상될 수 있음을 알 수 있는 자료를 제공하는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study stands at suggesting a need of researches on the relationship between mother s psychological well-being/ego resiliency and preschool children s self-regulation capability. The subjects were preschool children in the age of 4-5 currently attending two public kindergartens and six private kindergartens located in the city of Ulsan and their mothers. The collected data were analyzed through Pearson’s correlation and multiple regression. The result of this study was as following. First, there was a positive correlation among mother s psychological well-being, ego resiliency, and preschool children s self-regulation. Second, preschool children s self-regulation was influenced by mother s goal of life/personal relationships/environmental control/autonomy among subdomains of psychological well-being. Third, preschool children s self-regulation was influenced by mother s problem solving/autonomous behavior/intimate behavior/emotion control among subdomains of ego resiliency. Therefore, the significance of this study is in its provision of basic data for the improvement of preschool children s self-regulation, by studying mothers’ psychological well-being and ego resiliency in relation to preschool children s self-regulation.
