전공심화과정에서 현장연구자가 된 유아교사의 경험에 대한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 전공심화과정에서 현장연구를 한 유아교사의 경험의 의미를 드러냄으로써 현장연구자의 유아교사 역할에 대한 중요성을 드러내고자 한 질적 연구이다. 직업을 병행하며 배움을 갖는 전공심화과정의 유아교사에게 보다 의미 있는 현직교육의 방법으로 현장연구자로 살아가게 하는 전공심화과정의 의미를 들여다 볼 필요에 따라 연구 참여자는 현장연구 경험이 있는 유아교육학과 전공심화과정생 4인을 대상으로 하였다. 자료는 2014년 3월부터 2014년 11월까지 현장연구를 하는 동안 반성적 저널, 수업협의, 면담자료를 수집하였고, 2014년 12월 13일부터 2015년 1월 11까지 현장연구 종료 후 심층면담을 통해 수집하였다. 연구 결과, 연구 참여자들은 현장 연구 과정에서 유아에게 주도권을 이양하며 유아 관점이달라졌으며, 교사 자신이 오류를 인식하고 반성하며 잘못된 고리를 끊으며 전문성 있는 교사 역할을 찾으며 교사의 정체성을 회복하였다. 더불어 연구 참여자들은 지식구성자로서 실행주체가 되어 좋은 교사로 지향하는 열정을 피우는 경험의 의미를 드러내게 되었다. 본 연구는 전문대학 전공심화과정에서 유아교사로 재직하는 전공심화과정생을 현장연구자로 성장하게 하는 교사교육에 대한 방향성을 시사한다.

영문 초록

This study was to explore the meaning of pre-school teachers experience as action researchers in the advance Bachelor s degree course and to reveal the importance of both their roles as teachers and action researchers. The study was conducted so as to give senior students an educationally meaningful opportunity to practice as a teacher and an action researcher. Participants were four senior students who had conducted action research. For this study, reflective journals, class meeting reports and interviews, which had been either compiled or conducted from March 2014 to November 2014, were documented. Final materials were elaborately selected through in-depth interviews after the completion of the action research. The results showed that the participants tried to provide leadership to their children and, in the process, their perspectives regarding the children changed. They admitted their mistakes and returned to their real identities as teachers, by correcting their mistakes. They also became more active action researchers as they gained more knowledge. they intended to become better teachers, as a result. So, their learning became more sympathetic and they realized that theory and reality could be in perfect harmony. Therefore, this study could inform teachers’ training courses for future senior students enrolled in advanced Bachelor’s degree courses; they could also subsequently become action researchers.
