영문 초록

The prime purpose of this study was review the reforming trends of vocational and technical education in selected countries including underdeveloped, developing, and developed ones. Furthermore. The reforming directions were suggested as the conclusion of this study. For the purpose of this study, the reforming cases of selected countries` vocational and technical education were examined about there reforming stragegies to social changes. The summarization was made in the areas of manpower developing system, lifelong learning system, curriculum development, expansion of the target population, the roles of the government and the parties concerned, and international cooperation. Finally, the reforming directions for vocational and technical education were made in dealing with social changes and needs in 21st century.
