초등교사가 지각한 학교풍토가 교사효능감에 미치는 영향: 신뢰관계의 매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 교사를 대상으로 교사신뢰와 교사효능감 및 학교풍토의 관계를 분석하기 위해 수행되었다. 특히 본 연구는 학교풍토 및 학교신뢰가 교사의 효능감에 어떠한 경로로 영향을 미치는가를 분석하는데 초점이 있다. 연구를 수행하기 위해서 서울과 경기도에 근무하는 215명의 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, Pearson s 상관관계, 그리고 구조방정식 모형검증을 실시하였다. 검증을 위해서는 SPSS 22.0 프로그램과 AMOS 18.0 통계 프로그램을 사용하였다. 주요한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 모든 변인들 간에 정적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 예를 들어, 교사효능감과 교장 리더십의 상관관계(r=.30, p<.01), 교사효능감과 교장신뢰의 상관관계(r=.45, p<.01) 모두 유의미하였다. 2) 구조방정식 분석결과, 교사신뢰는 교사효능감에 직접적인 영향을 미치고 있지만, 학교풍토는 교사효능감에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 적합도 지수들을 검증한 결과, 모형의 양호도가 입증되었다. 학교급에 따라 교장의 영향력이 제한적이기는 하지만, 교장의 리더십은 조직풍토에 영향을 받는다. 또한 교사가 그것을 어떻게 지각하는가에 따라 교사효능감이 달라질 수 있다는 점을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to analyze the relations of teacher trust, teacher efficacy and school climate in elementary schools. In particular, this paper focuses on investigating the effects of school climate and school trust on teacher efficacy. In order to carry out this study, 215 participants working in Seoul and Kyonggi Province were collected. Descriptive analysis, Pearson s correlation, and SEM(Structural Equation Modeling) are deployed to examine the relations between the teacher trust, teacher efficacy and school climate by using the SPSS PC 22.0 and AMOS 18.0 program. The results of this study appear as follows. First, All variables were positively correlated. For instance, correlations between teacher efficacy and principal leadership (r=.30, p<.01), teacher efficacy and principal trust (r=.45, p<.01) were significant. 2) Results of the SEM illustrate that teacher trust indicator has direct impacts on the teacher efficacy, but school climate has indirect influence on the teacher efficacy. As the result of the goodness-of-fit indices, the fit of the model was satisfactory. Although the influence of the principal is limited by the school level, principal leadership is influenced by the organizational climate. It also suggests that teacher efficacy may vary depending on how teachers perceive it.
