미술과 교육과정 문서 체제 개선 방향 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 교육의 방향 제시와 실행 유도의 역할을 제대로 담당할 수 있고, 주요 독 자들에게 잘 전달될 수 있는 미술과 교육과정 문서 체제의 바람직한 방향을 제안하는 것이 다. 이를 위해 2009 개정 미술과 교육과정 문서를 ‘방향 제시’, ‘내용 제시’, ‘절차 제시’의 역할 수행과 ‘명료성’과 ‘가독성’ 면에서 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 미술과 문서는 ‘방향 제시’ 항목이 부족하고, ‘내용 제시’ 항목의 구성과 진술이 명료하지 못하며, ‘절차 제시’ 항목은 일반지침이 대부분이기 때문에 학교에서의 활용성이 고려되지 못한 것으로 파악되었다. 외국의 미술과 교육과정을 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 시사점을 도출하였다. 첫째, ‘도입부’를 신설하여 교과의 성격과 역할, 교육과정에서의 위치, 설계 의도 등 구체적인 방향을 제시하며, 둘째, 목표는 일 반 역량과 교과 역량을 함께 고려하여 수립하고, 셋째, 교육내용의 명료성을 높이기 위해서 성취기준과 미술 형식을 관련시킬 수 있는 내용 체계를 마련하며, 넷째, 교수?학습 방법의 범위를 자원, 교재 등으로 넓혀서 제시하는 것을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The primary purpose of this study is to make the improvement on the document system of the national curriculum in Art. For this purpose, this study examined the relevance of the 2009 national curriculum document system in Art on the roles as ‘directions', ‘contents' and ‘procedure', and the requisites as ‘clarity', ‘usability'. The problems of the 2009 national curriculum document system in Art were found as follows. 1) The lack of the roles of ‘directions' in Art curriculum 2) The lack of ‘clarity' in Art contents 3) The lack of ‘usability' in ‘Teaching and Learning Methods’ and ‘Evaluation’. This study presented suggestions for revising the document system of the national curriculum in Art as follows. 1) ‘Introduction’ should be presented as composing of ‘characters and roles’, ‘status of subjects’, ‘intent of curriculum design’. 2) ‘Objects’ should be composed of general competences and subject competences. 3) ‘Contents’ should be presented clearly using frame work of Art and describing achievement standards and art concepts. 4) ‘Teaching and Learning Methods’ and ‘Evaluation’ should be concrete using guidelines of facilites and resources in art instructions.
