미술영재 진단평가 문항 개발 연구

국문 초록

최근 영재선발 동향을 살펴보면, 학습효과의 영향을 받는 결과중심의 시험위주 평가보다는 잠재된 영재를 발굴할 수 있는 평가방법을 모색하고 있는 중이며, 이의 일환으로 우리나라에 서는 2011년부터 교사추천제를 도입하여 실시하고 있다. 그러나 교사추천제는 교사가 미술영 재를 식별할 수 있는 자질과 전문성을 지니고 있음을 전제로 하고 있으나 실제 현장에서는 그렇지 않은 경우가 많아 여러 가지 문제점을 안고 있으며 이를 보완하기 위한 구체적 미술 영재성 평가 준거가 필요한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 미술영재 진단평가 문항으로 활 용 가능한 미술영재성 평가 준거를 제안하고자 한다. 이를 위해 관련 문헌 고찰과 선행연구 분석을 통해서 미술영재성의 구성요인을 정의하고, 이를 바탕으로 개방형 설문조사를 실시하 여 총 136개의 예비문항을 개발하였고 5점 척도로 예비문항에 대한 설문을 실시하였다. 설문 결과의 통계적 분석?검증을 통해 최종 23개의 미술영재 진단평가 문항을 개발하였다. 본 연 구를 통해 개발된 미술영재성 진단평가 문항은 통계적 검증을 거친 신뢰롭고 타당한 진단평 가도구로서 미술영재교육에서 소외되었던 잠재된 영재를 발굴하는데 도움을 줄 뿐 아니라, 미술영재성에 대한 이해를 심화시키고 나아가 미술영재평가준거를 제공해 줄 것이다.

영문 초록

The gifted education, currently has been trying to find a way to identify the gifted and talented based on their potential, rather than using the product-based evaluation which has been normally applied. Since 2011 Korean Ministry of Education adopted a teachers’ observation and nomination system. The teachers’ observation and nomination system should be built on high-caliber and professionalism to identify the gifted and talented in visual arts. However, unfortunately, there are not enough teachers or professionals qualified for the arts gifted education. Therefore, to reinforce the teachers’ observation and nomination system, we need to develop clear evaluation criteria based on understanding of the giftedness in visual arts. In this study, we developed questions for a diagnostic test for the gifted and talented in visual arts. First, through the literature review, the giftedenss in visual arts and its constructing factors were defined. Based on this definition of the giftedness in visual art, open-ended questionnaire were developed and a survey 118 artists and art teachers was conducted. Total 136 preliminary questions were drawn and again the survey of 288 artists and art teachers were conducted. This time, they are asked to answer using 5 scale likert. For data analysis, we used statistical verification and in the end, 23 questions are decided as diagnostic test questions for the gifted and talented in visual arts. We expect this diagnostic test questions, as a valid and reliable evaluation tool, help to excavate the disadvantaged gifted in visual arts. Also, it can deepen understanding of the visual arts giftedness and provide evaluation criteria for the gifted and talented in visual arts.
