국문 초록

평균수명의 연장으로 인해 연장된 노년기를 창조적이고 건강하며 의미 있게 보낼 수 있기 위한 여가 및 취미교육으로 미술교육의 중요성이 언급되고 있다(한정란, 2000: 193). 그러나 현재 우리나라의 노인들을 위한 여가 및 취미교육은 흥미ㆍ오락중심으로 매우 단편적으로 운영되고 있어서 미적 체험을 통한 정체성 확립 및 자아존 중감의 향상을 기대하기 어려운 실정이다(박응희, 2006: 29). 훔볼트(W. v. Humboldt)의 도야이론(Bildungstheorie)에 따르면 인간은 전 생애에 걸쳐 자신을 성장시키는 대상, 소재, 그리고 경험을 필요로 한다(Humboldt, 1980: 263). 미술교육은 인간의 내적 성장을 촉진하는 소재와 대상으로써 노년기에도 여전히 유효한 교육적 프로그램이다. 특히 미적체험의 다양성을 통한 지각 및 인식능력의 확대는 노년기의 성공적 노화를 위한 중요한 토대가 된다.

영문 초록

This study is focused on the reflection of the aged art educational program as a life-long Education in Busan. Practically the most the aged educational program in institutions focused on terms of leisure. But this study is based on theory of lebenswelt of E. Schmitz, theory of biographical education by art education of G. Peez. and the theory of artpsychology of W. Schurian. The purpose of this study is to analyse the process of development of the aged educational program in Busan, ⌈senior atelier⌋, with the view of critic. The research method of analyse is the method of case study. First, Our experience of program development tell us the importance of philosophy and theory of art education and aged education, and it's application. Secondly, in according to the philosophy and theory should be developed the program and methods. Third, it ist important that the educational competencies required for future art education for the aged professionals should be reflected in the development of education program. Finally, for the development of thevaged education is the academic help of network needed.
