미술치료에서 내담자의 꿈 시각화 과정에 대한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 미술치료가 경과함에 따라 성인 내담자의 꿈 시각화 변화과정을 양적, 질적으로 알아보고자 하였 다. 내담자는 간이정신진단검사(SCL-90-R)에서 평균 60점미만을 획득하여 정신병력이 없고 건강한 성인으로 2015년 5월부터 60분간 주 2회씩 총 30회기를 진행하였다. 본 연구는 30개의 꿈을 순서대로 6개씩 5구간으로 나누고 꿈의 기능적 채점방법을 통해 양적 분석을, 내담자의 심리적 변화에 따라 꿈에 등장한 주제에 따라 질 적 분석을 했고 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 꿈의 기능적 채점방법 중 진행척도의 변화가 있었는데 꿈의 감 정 강도가 증가 후 안정세를 보였고 꿈꾼 사람의 활동성과 명료성이 증가하였으며 표현정도는 증가하다가 유 지되었다. 둘째, 꿈의 기능적 채점방법 중 내용척도의 변화가 있었는데 감정의 출처와 꿈 배경은 현재와 관련 된 내용의 빈도수가 증가하였고 꿈꾼 사람의 나이는 중기 이후 종종 어리게 등장하였으며 종합평가에서 초반 에 주로 상징적이던 내용이 현실적인 꿈으로 나타난 반면 등장인물은 일정한 패턴을 보이지 않았다. 셋째, 내 담자의 심리적 변화와 함께 꿈의 주제의 변화가 관찰되었는데 양적분석 결과와 연관성이 발견되었다. 즉 내담 자가 소외된 정서를 인식해가는 심리적 흐름이 꿈의 내용과 시각화한 작품에 반영되었고, 꿈의 양적 수치변화 와도 병행하였다. 따라서 꿈 시각화를 통한 미술치료가 내담자의 꿈 변화에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다.

영문 초록

This study analyzed the contents of the client’s dream transformation both quantitatively and qualitatively in dream visualization through the use of art therapy. The client was healthy, had acquired less than 60 points on the SCL-90-R, and had no history of mental illness. This study was conducted across held twice a week from May 2015, with each session being 60 minutes. The 30 dreams were divided into five sections of six dreams per each section. The contents of the dreams were qualitatively analyzed. First, there were some changes in the process scales in the functional scoring test. Feeling intensity increased and showed a stable trend. Dreamer activity and clarity increased. Dreamer expression increased and maintained. Second, the content scales changed. On the origin of feeling and the dream setting, the present situation increased. The age of dreamer sometimes appeared younger than the middle age. On the overall rating, the dream changed from having symbolic to realistic content, whereas the characters had no fixed patterns. Third, the transformations of dream themes were observed in conjunction with the psychological changes in the client and were correlated to the results of qualitative analysis. The psychological flow that allowed the client to recognized alienated emotions was reflected in the content of the dreams. Therefore, art therapy through dream visualization had positive effects on the transformation of the client’s dreams.
