집단미술치료가 조현병환자의 정서표현과 생활사건스트레스에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 조현병환자의 정서표현과 생활사건스트레스에 미치는 집단미술치료의 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 G시에 위치한 정신보건센터와 N시에 위치한 정신요양원에서 조현병으로 진단을 받고 생활하는 대 상자 중 실험집단 10명과 비교집단 10명을 구성하여 매회 90분씩, 총 14회기를 집단미술치료를 진행하였다. 본 연구의 효과성 평가를 위한 척도로 정서표현은 Gross와 John(1995)이 개발한 버클리 정서표현 질문지(Berkeley Expressivity Questionnaire)와 정서의 변화를 알아보기 위해 별-파도 그림검사(SWT)를 사용하였다. 생활사건스 트레스는 Lee(1993)가 개발하고 Seo(2015)가 요인 분석하여 수정？보완한 척도를 사용하였으며 스트레스의 평가 와 대처자원의 적절성을 알아보기 위해 빗속의 사람 그림검사(PITR)를 하였다. 그 결과, 집단미술치료프로그램 이 조현병환자의 정서표현 향상과 생활사건스트레스 감소에 효과가 있었다. 따라서 조현병환자의 정서표현을 향상시키고 생활사건스트레스를 감소시키는데 효과적인 프로그램으로써 임상영역에서 치료적인 접근으로 활용 할 수 있음을 알 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of group art therapy on emotional expression and life event stress in patients with schizophrenia. Patients who were diagnosed as schizophrenic and resided in a mental health center located in G City and a mental hospital located in N City were participated in the study. They were divided into the experimental group (n=10) and the control group (n=10), and group art therapy was performed for 14 sessions, with 90 minutes per session. Emotional expression was examined through the Berkeley Expressivity Questionnaire developed by Gross and John (1995) to evaluate the effectiveness of the study and the life event stress was tested using Star-Wave Test (SWT) developed by Yeong-Ho Lee (1993) and modified and added by the factor analysis of Myeong-Ah Seo (2015). The adequacy of the stress test and coping resources was examined using a Person-in-the Rain (PITR) assessment. As a result, the group art therapy program had an effect on the improvement of emotional expression and caused a decrease in life event stress in patients with schizophrenia. The results, therefore, suggest that the group art therapy program is effective in improving emotional expression and decreasing life event stress in patients with schizophrenia and can be used as a therapeutic approach in the clinical field.
