언어발달지체 영유아 부모에 대한 원격 부모교육의 효과 및 만족도 연구

국문 초록

배경 및 목적: 본 연구는 언어발달지체를 나타내는 2-3세 언어발달지체 아동의 엄마를 대상으로 아동의 언어 발달 촉진 기법을 원격부모교육 형태로 제공하고 그 효과와 대상자 만족도를 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 방법: 7명의 엄마를 대상으로 원격을 사용하여 시범(평행적 발화, 혼잣말) 기법, 선반응요구-후시범 기법, 시간지연 기법을 훈련과 코칭의 방식으로 교육하고, 가정에서 촬영한 엄마와 아동간의 상호작용 자료를 분석하여 엄마의 기법 산출 형태 변화와 아동의 발화 특성 변화를 분석하였다. 교육이 모두 끝난 후 대상자 만족도 검사를 실시하였다. 결과: 대부분의 대상자들이 원격 부모교육 후에 교육 전과 대비하여 교육한 기법들의 발화당 산출률과 총 산출빈도의 향상을 나타냈으며, 아동들도 엄마에 변화에 따라 발화의 유형이 다양해지고 산출률과 산출빈도가 향상되는 효과가 나타났다. 원격 부모교육에 대한 만족도도 높은 수준을 나타냈다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구결과는 원격을 활용한 부모교육이 영유아기 언어발달지체 아동의 부모들에게 아동의 언어 발달 촉진적 상호작용 행동을 교육시킬 수 있는 효과적인 대안이 될 수 있음을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objectives: This study aims to provide parent teaching techniques to mothers of 2-3-year old children with language developmental delays via telepractice and to analyze the effectiveness and participant satisfaction. The training focuses on techniques to promote language development in their children. Methods: The study involved training and coaching seven mothers in parallel talk, self-talk, mand-model and time delay techniques via telepractice. The interactions between mothers and children were recorded at home and analyzed to observe changes in mothers’ use of the techniques and the characteristics of children’s speech. After completing the training-coaching procedure, a satisfaction survey was conducted among the participants. Results: Most participants showed improvement in the production rate per utterance and the total frequency of the techniques after the telelpractice for parent training and coaching. The children also exhibited more diverse types of utterances and increased production rates and frequencies following their mothers’ improvements. The satisfaction with remote parent training was reported to be high. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that for parent intervention, training and coaching via telepractice can be an effective alternative for educating parents of young children with language developmental delays, enabling them to engage in interactions that pro mote their children’s language development.
