교수자의 관점에서 본 대학생 핵심역량 진단 도구의 타당도와 중요도 탐색

국문 초록

S대학교는 학부생 인재상 및 핵심역량 모형에 통하여 6개 핵심역량을 진단할 수 있는 77개 문항으로 구성된 진단도구를 개발한 바 있다. 본 연구는 진단도구의 활용도를 높이기 위해 교수자의 관점에서 기 개발된 진단도구의 타당성과 중요성을 어떻게 인식하고 있는지를 확인하고 그 결과를 바탕으로 기 핵심역량 진단 문항을 개선하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 구체적으로 S대학 교수 대상 설문조사를 실시하였고, 응답한 204명의 자료를 활용하여 Lawshe(1975)의 CVR 비율을 기준으로 인재상 및 핵심역량의 정의, 핵심역량을 진단하기 위한 문항의 내용 타당도(측정 타당성 및 중요도)를 검증한 뒤, 진단 문항에 대한 교수자의 개방형 의견도 종합하여 문항을 수정하였다. 이와 같이 핵심역량 진단도구를 개발하는 과정에서 학생을 대상으로 한 예비조사뿐만 아니라 교수자의 관점에서 각 문항의 타당성과 중요도에 대하여 평가하는 과정을 거치는 것은 향후 핵심역량 진단도구가 교수학습의 장면에서 유용하게 활용되기 위한 구체적인 시사점을 제공할 수 있다는 점에서 교육적 의의를 갖는다.

영문 초록

S University has developed a diagnostic tool consisting of 77 items to assess six core competencies based on its model of undergraduate student attributes and core competencies. This study aims to enhance the tool's usability by investigating how faculty members perceive the validity and importance of the existing diagnostic tool and to refine the competency assessment items accordingly. A survey was conducted among S University faculty members, and data from 204 respondents were analyzed. The study used Lawshe's (1975) Content Validity Ratio (CVR) to verify the content validity—specifically the measurement validity and importance—of the items designed to assess core competencies. Additionally, open-ended feedback from faculty was integrated to revise the diagnostic items. The process of evaluating the validity and importance of each item from the faculty's perspective, in addition to conducting preliminary surveys with students, is significant as it offers concrete insights for effectively utilizing the core competency diagnostic tool in educational settings.
