국문 초록

본 연구는 시대의 흐름에도 변하지 않는 교원의 핵심역량과 시대의 흐름에 따라 새롭게 요구되는 교원역량을 종합적으로 살펴보기 위해, 우리나라와 해외 주요국의 연구보고서와 학술지를 중심으로 교원역량 모델을 수집하여 분석하였다. 이에 따른 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기술의 발전에 따라 교원의 디지털 역량은 더욱 세분화되고 있다. 둘째, 미래지향적 교원역량이 중요한 요소로 새롭게 부각되고 있다. 셋째, 교원의 사회정서 역량이 강조되고 있다. 넷째, ‘교수-설계역량’, ‘기본소양 역량’이 핵심역량으로 꾸준히 강조되고 있다. 연구결과에 따른 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 국가 차원의 교원역량 모델을 주기적으로 점검하고 진화시켜 나가야 한다. 둘째, 교원의 미래역량 함양을 위한 교원양성기관의 교육과정 재구성이 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 교원의 디지털 역량 강화를 위한 연수를 강화해야 한다. 넷째, 교원의 교육공동체 역량과 교수 전문성 강화를 위한 전문적 학습공동체를 내실화해야 한다. 교원역량 변화 동향을 살펴본 본 연구는 향후 교원양성 및 재교육 프로그램을 개선 및 개발하는 데에 유용한 시사점을 제공할 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study collected and analyzed teacher competency models, focusing on research reports and academic journals from major countries, including Korea, to comprehensively examine both the core competencies of teachers that remain constant over time and those newly required by current trends. The research results are as follows: First, as technology advances, teachers' digital competencies are becoming more specialized. Second, future-oriented teacher competencies are emerging as significant factors. Third, social and emotional competencies of teachers are being emphasized. Fourth, ‘instructional design competency’, and ‘basic literacy competency' are consistently highlighted as core competencies for teachers. The implications of these findings are as follows: First, it is necessary to periodically review and evolve the teacher competency model at the national level. Second, the curriculum of teacher training institutions should be reorganized to foster teachers' future competencies. Third, training programs should be enhanced to strengthen teachers' digital competencies. Fourth, it is essential to internalize a professional learning community to boost teachers' educational community competencies and teaching expertise. This study, which examined changes in the teacher competency models, is expected to provide valuable insights for improving and developing teacher training and re-education programs in the future.
