K대학교 온·오프라인 비교과 프로그램 참여에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구: 프로그램 및 참여 혜택 인식, 교과목 다양성 판단을 중심으로

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 대학생이 온·오프라인 비교과 프로그램 참여하는데 미치는 요인을 확인하는 것이다. 이 연구에서 사용한 요인은 비교과 프로그램 인식, 비교과 참여 혜택 인식, 비교과 교과목 다양성 판단이었다. 연구 대상은 K대학교에 재학생 중 온·오프라인 비교과에 참여한 경험이 있는 학생이었으며 조사에 자발적으로 참여한 273명의 데이터를 분석에 사용하였다. 연구에 사용한 도구는 교육학 전문가 3인이 안면 타당도를 확인한 8개 문항이었다. 인구통계학적 특성을 묻는 문항 3개를 제외한 5문항(온·오프라인 비교과 참여 2문항, 비교과 다양성 판단 1문항, 비교과 프로그램 인식 1문항, 비교과 참여 혜택 인식 1문항)은 가부를 묻는 형태로 제작하였다. 이 연구는 변수 간 상대적 효과 크기와 변화를 아는 데 효과적인 오즈비와 리스크비를 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 학생이 대학에서 비교과 프로그램을 제공한다는 사실을 인식하는 경우와 비교과에 참여하는 경우의 참여 혜택을 인식하면 학생의 비교과 프로그램 참여도는 증가하였다. 특히 두 요인의 인식 여부는 오프라인 비교과 참여도에 더 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 비교과 프로그램이 제공하는 교과목이 다양하다고 판단하는 것은 학생의 오프라인 참여도를 높였지만, 온라인 참여도에는 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 이 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구의 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This research investigates the determinants of university students' engagement in both on-offline extracurricular activities. It specifically examines the impact of students' awareness of extracurricular activities and benefits and their perceptions of the diversity of extracurricular courses. The research targeted all undergraduate students of K university, who had participating experience in on-offline extracurricular activities. The analytic data were the 273 students’ responses, who voluntarily participated in the survey. The research instrument included 8 items, subjected to face validity verification by three education experts. Three items were dedicated to gathering demographic data. The five items (2 on participation in on-offline extracurricular activities, a perception of the diversity of extracurricular activities, an awareness of the extracurricular curriculum, and an awareness of the student benefits) were designed to solicit binary responses. The study utilized odds ratios and risk ratios as analytic tools. The findings indicate that awareness of the extracurricular curriculum and the recognition of benefits offered by the university significantly enhance student participation, particularly in offline activities. While the variety of extracurricular courses was influential in augmenting offline engagement, it had no impact on online participation. Based on the results of this study, the study's implications were presented.
