국문 초록

루쉰의 「묘비문(墓碣文)」」에 대한 기존 연구가 간과했던 측면의 하나는 산문시가 지닌 문학적, 미학적 특성에 대해 충분히 주의를 기울이지 않았다는 것이다. 루쉰의 사상은 체계적이고 논리적인 개념이 아니라 예술적이고 시적인 형상으로 표현될 수밖에 없는 특성을 지니고 있다. 이런 의미에서 “시화된 철학”이라는 용어로 루쉰의 사상을 개괄하는 것이 가능하다고 할 것이다. 이런 시화된 철학은 동서양의 철학사상사에서 일반적 경향이라고 할 수는 없지만, 그래도 꾸준하게 있어 온 것이 사실이다. 시화된 철학이라는 말은 시와 사상, 형상과 개념의 고도의 융합을 가리키는 것이다. 시로 표현될 수밖에 없는 사상, 사상을 떠나서 존재할 수 없는 시, 이런 특이한 시와 사상은 그 예술적, 미학적 특징에 대한 텍스트 분석이 그대로 사상적, 철학적 의미에 대한 해석과 직결되는 놀라운 경험을 제공한다. 이런 의미에서 본고에서는 예술과 사상의 긴밀한 결합에 주목함으로써 「묘비문」에 대한 기존 연구에서 간과되거나 해석하기 어려웠던 문제들에 대해 하나의 새로운 해결책을 제시해 볼 것이다. 따라서 「묘비문」에 대한 텍스트 분석과 사상적 해석을 고도로 융합시키는 것이 이 글의 과제이다.

영문 초록

One aspect overlooked in existing studies on Lu Xun’s “An Epitaph” (墓碣文) is the insufficient attention given to the literary and aesthetic characteristics of prose poetry. Lu Xun’s thoughts possess qualities that are not systematic and logical concepts but rather can only be expressed in artistic and poetic forms. In this sense, it can be said that summarizing Lu Xun’s thoughts with the term ‘poeticized philosophy’ is possible. While this poeticized philosophy is not a common trend in the history of Eastern and Western philosophy, it has nevertheless consistently existed. The term ‘poeticized philosophy’ refers to the high-level integration between poetry and thought, form and concept. Thought that can only be expressed through poetry, and poetry that cannot exist without thought, such unique relation provides a remarkable experience that textual analysis of artistic and aesthetic features directly correlates with interpretation of philosophical and ideological meanings. In this sense, this paper aims to offer a new solution to problems that have been overlooked or difficult to interpret in previous studies on “An Epitaph” by paying close attention to the intimate connection between art and thought. Therefore, the task of this paper is to highly integrate textual analysis and philosophical interpretation of “An Epitaph”.
