국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 영유아 어머니의 양육지식과 양육행동 간의 관계에서 양육효능감과 부모역할인식의 매개효과를 알아보는 것이다. 연구의 목적을 위하여 부산광역시 소재 어린이집 영유아 어머니 264명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였으며, 최종적으로 252명의 자료를 분석하였다. 각 변인의 관계를 알아보기 위하여 상관분석을 실시하였고, 양육효능감과 부모역할인식 매개효과 검증을 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과와 논의를 통해 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 양육지식, 양육효능감, 부모역할인식, 양육행동 간에는 유의미한 상관이 있다. 둘째, 양육효능감은 양육지식과 양육행동 간의 관계를 부분매개 한다. 셋째, 부모역할인식은 양육지식과 양육행동 간의 관계에서 매개효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 종합해 볼 때, 영유아 어머니의 긍정적인 양육행동을 향상시키기 위해서는 양육효능감이 중요함을 시사하기에 양육효능감을 높이기 위한 방안이 논의되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find out the mediating effect of parenting efficacy and parental role recognition in the relationship between parenting knowledge and parenting behavior of infants and mothers. In so doing, a survey was conducted on 264 mothers of infants and toddlers at daycare centers in Busan, and data from 252 were finally analyzed. Sanggwang analysis was conducted to find out the relationship between the variables, and hierarchical regression analysis was conducted to verify the mediating effect of parenting efficacy and parental role recognition. The results of this study and the conclusions obtained through discussion are as follows. First, there is a significant correlation between parenting knowledge, parenting efficacy, parental role recognition, and parenting behavior. Second, parenting efficacy partially mediates the relationship between parenting knowledge and parenting behavior. Third, it was found that parental role recognition had no mediating effect in the relationship between parenting knowledge and parenting behavior. Taking these results together, measures to increase parenting efficacy were discussed as it suggests that parenting efficacy is important to improve the positive parenting behavior of mothers of infants and toddlers.
