일본어 복합동사의 전항·후항 동사에 관한 고찰

국문 초록

本稿では、国立国語研究所の『Webデータに基づく複合動詞用例データベース』において、前項動詞と後項動詞で構成された3,879個の複合動詞を調査対象として、前項動詞と後項動詞の出現数が高い動詞を順に提示し、また出現頻度が高い複合動詞を順に提示することで複合動詞学習の優先順位を決めるのに役に立ちたい。 ①3,879個の複合動詞のうち、前項動詞の異なり語数は759個であり、10回以上出現した動詞は計96個と調査された。96動詞は2,075個の複合動詞の前項動詞として使われ、全体の前項動詞の53.5%を占める。 ②3,879個の複合動詞のうち、後項動詞の異なり語数は605個であり、10回以上出現した動詞は計81個と調査された。81動詞は2,655個の複合動詞の後項動詞として使われ、全体の後項動詞の68.4%を占める。 ③複合動詞用例データベースで複合動詞出現数上位100位まで提示する。 前項動詞と後項動詞の出現頻度が高い動詞を優先的に学習することは、複合動詞学習に有効な方法となり、出現頻度の高い複合動詞から順に提示することで、複合動詞学習における優先順位を選定する上で重要な資料としての役割を果たすことができると考えられる。

영문 초록

In this paper, I analyse 3,879 compound verbs consisting of two verbs based on ‘The Web-based Database for Compound Verbs’ (The Institute for Japanese Language and Linguistics). The objective of the present study is to determine the order of priority when one studies compound verbs by (i) presenting the verbs frequently appearing in the first and the second component of a compound verb in the order of frequency and (ii) presenting the compound verbs in the order of frequency. The main results of this paper are summarised as follows. First, of 3,879 compound verbs, 759 tokens of verbs appear in the first- component slot; the number of verbs appearing more than ten times is 96. These 96 verbs appear as the first component of 2,075 compound verbs, accounting for 53.5% of the total number of the first-component verbs. Second, of 3,879 compound verbs, 605 tokens of verbs appear in the second- component slot; the number of verbs appearing more than ten times is 81. These 81 verbs appear as the second component of 2,655 verbs, accounting for 68.4 of the total number of the second-component verbs. Finally, I present the most frequently recurrent 100 compound verbs in the database in the order of frequency. Given that prioritising the frequently used compound verbs is an effective method for studying compound verbs, the present study offers the important materials for determining the order of priority for the study of compound verbs.
