국문 초록

본 연구에서는 즉답요구형 일본어 평가 도구 SPOT(Simple Performance-Oriented Test)의 방법론을 검토하여 한국어 평가에 응용 가능한지 확인하고자 하였다. 그 초기 단계로 총 90문항의 K-QRT(Korean Quick Response Test)를 개발하고 각 문항의 양호도를 분석하였다. 이를 위해 충남 소재 대학의 유학생 81명을 대상으로 예비시험을 실시하였다. 이것은 평가 도구를 개발하는 데 반드시 거쳐야 할 과정으로 이를 통해 문항의 질적 제고가 가능하다. 본고에서는 문항반응이론에 따라 문항의 난이도와 변별도를 검토하였다. 먼저 데이터를 IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 22와 통계 프로그램 R을 사용하여 분석하였는데 수험자의 일반적 특성은 SPSS 프로그램으로 빈도 분석하였다. 문항 분석에서는 통계 프로그램 R을 사용하되 2모수 로지스틱 모형으로 분석을 진행하였다. 그 결과, 현 단계의 K-QRT는 Cronbach’s α계수가 .91로 신뢰도가 매우 높은 평가 도구인 것으로 나타났다. 평균 난이도 지수는 1.88로 어려운 시험으로 분석되었으며, 평균 변별도 지수는 4.22로 변별도가 매우 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 그러나 문항별로 난이도를 검토한 결과 매우 어려운 문항과 매우 쉬운 문항이 전체의 약 40%를 차지하는 것으로 나타나 난이도 조정이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다. 한편, 각 문항의 변별도 지수를 살펴본 결과 변별도가 없거나 변별도가 낮은 총 7개 문항 중 6개 문항의 경우 난이도가 ‘매우 쉽다’ 혹은 ‘매우 어렵다’로 판별되었다. 따라서 이들 문항들은 수정하거나 교체할 필요가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 문항 분석은 평가 도구 개발에서 매우 중요한 과정이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 문항 분석을 통해 난이도와 변별도에 이상이 있는 문항을 추출하고 문항반응이론의 분석 결과를 토대로 난이도를 검토하여 학습자의 능력 수준에 적합한 문항을 선별하기로 한다. 본 연구의 성과는 추후 문제은행 구축 및 웹버전 한국어 평가 도구 개발에서 유용한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 나아가 본 연구의 성과는 웹버전 한국어 평가 도구 개발에 기초연구로 활용될 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

In this study, the methodology of SPOT (Simple Performance Oriented Test), a Japanese assessment tool requiring immediate response, was reviewed to see if it could be applied to Korean language assessment. As an initial step, a total of 90 questions of the K-QRT(Korean Quick Response Test) was developed and the quality of each question was analyzed. To this end, a preliminary test was conducted on 81 international students from universities in Chungnam. This is a necessary process in developing an evaluation tool, and through this, it is possible to improve the quality of items. In this paper, the difficulty and discrimination of items were reviewed according to item response theory. First, the data was exported to IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 22 and the statistical program R were used, and the general characteristics of the test takers were analyzed for frequency with the SPSS program. For item analysis, the statistical program R was used, but the analysis was conducted with a two-parameter logistic model. As a result, K-QRT at the present stage was found to be a very reliable evaluation tool with Cronbach's α coefficient of .91. The average difficulty index was 1.88, which was analyzed as a difficult test, and the average discrimination index was 4.22, which was confirmed to be very high. However, as a result of examining the level of difficulty for each item, very difficult and very easy items accounted for about 40% of the total, and it was analyzed that difficulty adjustment was necessary. On the other hand, as a result of examining the discrimination index of each item, the difficulty level of 6 out of 7 items with no discrimination or low discrimination was judged as 'very easy' or 'very difficult'. Therefore, it was analyzed that these items needed to be modified or replaced. Item analysis is a very important process in the development of assessment tools. Therefore, in this study, questions with abnormalities in difficulty and discrimination were extracted through item analysis, and items suitable for the learner's ability level were selected by examining the level of difficulty based on the analysis results of item response theory. It is expected that the results of this study will be used as useful data in the future for establishing a question bank and developing a web version Korean language assessment tool. Furthermore, it is expected that the results of this study will be used as basic research for the development of a web version Korean assessment tool.
