외국인을 위한 한국 문학 교육 연구

국문 초록

원활한 의사소통을 위한 한국어 교육은 문화를 아우를 수 있는 문학 교육이 필요하다. 현재 한국어 교육기관에서 문학 교육이 어떻게 이루어지고 있는지를 살피기 위해 경희대, 고려대, 서울대의 한국어 교육 기관에서 정규과정 교재로 제작한 것을 중심으로 문학 교육의 현황을 살펴보았다. 그 결과 중급 과정 이상부터 시행되고 있음을 확인하였다. 그러나 어휘, 문법, 문화를 총체적으로 아우를 수 있는 텍스트가 문학이 될 수 있으므로 초급부터 문학 교육이 시행되어야 함을 제안하고자 했다. 그리고 초급 과정에서 교육할 수 있는 문학으로 설화를 선정하였다. 설화는 민중 공동의 작품으로 한 민족의 사상, 가치관, 정서 등이 녹아 있는 이야기이다. 또한, 그 구조와 표현이 단순하여 외국인에게 한국 문학을 교육할 때 활용의 가치가 크기 때문이다. 끝으로 본 연구에서는 형제간의 우애를 다룬 「형제투금」을 중심으로 초급에서도 문학 교육이 가능할 수 있는 교재 모형을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Based on the consideration of that Korean language education for smooth communications needs to be accompanied by culture education, this study was made for the purpose of proposing that literary education should be performed starting from beginner level. Focusing on the ones made for regular course teaching materials by Korean language education institutions at Kyunghee University, Korea University and Seoul National University, the present situation of literary education was examined by this study and found that the present literary education was carried out starting from the same or higher than intermediate level. Therefore, in this study, folk tales were selected as literature by which not only vocabulary and grammar but also culture would be able to educate through literature education even in beginner level. Folk tales are stories as works created jointly by people in general in which thought, values and emotions of a race are get joined together and as the structure and expression are simple, the applicable value would be great for education of Korean literary to foreigners. In this study, a model of teaching material is presented for literary education even available at beginner level focusing on a folk tale named 「兄弟投金: Brothers' Thrown the Gold」 in which brotherly affection was treated as the subject.
