국문 초록

이 연구는 한국어 학습자들이 한국어의 증거 양태 의미를 이해하고 이들의 의사소통을 증진시키기 위함이다. 이를 위해 복합종결어미에 나타나는 한국어의 증거 양태의 의미들을 고찰하고 교육적 활용을 모색하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 실제 한국어 교육 기관에서 사용하는 교재를 살펴보면 복합종결어미의 다양한 의미, 양태 기능에 대해서는 간과하는 부분이 많아서 교육을 위한 연구의 선행이 필요하다. 이 연구에서는 ‘-다고, -다니, -다면서, -다니까’를 연구 대상으로 삼았다. 증거 양태의 정보 출처를 밝히기 위해 TV드라마 대본인 준구어 말뭉치 자료를 사용하여 담화 분석을 하였다. 분석 결과에 따르면 화자가 채택하는 증거의 의미로 [체험], [말전달], [상황전달], [일반상식] 등의 의미 범주가 나타났다. 한국어 교육 현장에서 각 어미에 나타나는 증거 의미의 정보를 제공하면서 교육한다면 효과적인 교수·학습이 될 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is designed to help the Korean learners to understand the evidential modality of Korean, increase their communications and study the meanings of evidential modality of Korean from the compound sentence endings for the educational application. In this study, the “-dago, -dani, -damyeongseo, and -danikka” were targeted for the study. For the disclosure of the source of information on the evidential modality, the TV drama script or the semi-spoken language data was used for the discourse analysis. The corpora materials used in the analysis of discourse includs approximately 1,306,657 phrases from the scripts of TV drama episodes. The analysis results shows that the evidence adopted by the speaker includes the ‘experience firsthand’, ‘speaking reported’, ‘situation reported’, and ‘general knowledge’. If the information on the evidential meaning shown in each ending is provided in the Korean education courses, that would be a good and effective education and learning experience.
