COVID-19 상황에서 학부모의 유아교육기관에 대한 공동체 의식과 만족도, 문화 성향이 교사와의 파트너십에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

COVID-19로 가정 내에서 돌봄을 제공해야 하는 상황에서 학부모의 교사와의 파트너십은 양육지원 뿐아니라 기관의 휴원 및 교육정책, 나아가 국가의 교육정책을 이해하는 통로로 작용한다. 이러한 중요성을바탕으로 본 연구는 교사와의 파트너십에 미치는 학부모의 유아교육기관에 대한 공동체 의식, 유아교육기관 만족도 및 문화성향의 영향력이 어떠한지를 알아보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이에 자녀가 유아교육기관에 재원 중인 전국에 거주하는 학부모 총 330명을 대상으로 유아교육기관에 대한 공동체 의식 척도, 유아교육기관 만족도 척도, 문화 성향 척도, 부모-교사 파트너십 척도를 사용하여 자료를 수집하고 기술통계, 상관분석 및 중다회귀분석을 이용하여 자료를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 학부모는 유아교육기관에 대한 공동체 의식, 유아교육기관 만족도, 문화 성향, 부모-교사 파트너십을 모두 보통 이상의 수준으로 인식하는 경향이 있었다. 둘째, 학부모의 유아교육기관에 대한 공동체 의식, 유아교육기관 만족도, 문화 성향및 학부모-교사 파트너십 간에 유의한 정적 상관이 있었다. 셋째, 학부모의 공동체 의식과 유아교육기관만족도, 문화 성향은 교사와의 파트너십에 대한 영향 요인이며, 특히 유아교육기관 만족도 중에서 교사에대한 만족도 하위 요인이 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 본 연구는 COVID-19상황에서 유아교육기관은 부모-교사 파트너십 형성을 위해 학부모의 기관에 대한 공동체 의식과 만족도를 높이고, 이들의 문화성향을 반영한 다양한 온·오프라인 교육과 상담이 필요함을 보여주었다.

영문 초록

This purpose of this study is to investigate effects of sense of community, satisfaction about early childhood educational institution, and cultural disposition of parents on the partnership with teachers in the COVID-19 situation. To do this, data were collected from 330 early childhood parents using scales for checking four factors and analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are follows. First, parents tended to perceive four factors at a higher level than normal. Second, the partnership with teachers showed a significant positive correlation with factors of sense of community of early childhood educational institution, early childhood educational institution satisfaction and cultural disposition. And, there was a significant positive correlation between the factors of sense of community of early childhood educational institution, early childhood educational institution satisfaction and cultural disposition. Third, parents' sense of community of early childhood educational institution, early childhood educational institution satisfaction and cultural disposition were a influencing variable to the teacher-parent cooperation. Particularly, it was found that the sub-factors for satisfaction about teachers had the greatest influence among the factors for early childhood educational institution satisfaction. The findings of this study imply that diverse on-off line education and counseling in improving sense of community, satisfaction of early childhood educational institution of parents reflecting their cultural disposition in order to increase parent-teacher partnerships in the COVID-19 situation.
