공감각을 활용한 조형표현의 창의적 발상을 위한 연구

국문 초록

현대의 사회에서는 각자의 모습을 각인시키고 역량을 발휘할 기회를 얻기 위해서 개개인의 창의적인 개성을 어필하는 것이 매우 중요해졌으며, 조형예술은 이러한 창의성 개발의 조력자로서 역할을 충실히 하여 왔다. 물론 조형예술의 창작활동에서도 창의적 개성은 중요한 요소로 작용하고 있으며, 특히 표현을 위한 발상의 단계에서 가장 많은 영향력을 끼친다. 그래서 기존의 단순감각을 이용한 조형표현 방법이 아닌 공감각을 이용한 표현의 방법을 적용하여 새로운 자극이 발상의 과정에 줄 수 있는 변화의 부분들에 관해 연구하고자 하였다. 또한 연구자는 이 공감각적 접근법을 교육현장의 학습자들에게 적용하여 관찰하였는데, 이는 근본적으로 남과 다른 개성을 추구해온 미술의 이념이 교육현장에서 지속적으로 실현되어왔기 때문이다. 그리고 미술교육에서 가장 중요한 것이 미술활동을 통해 창의성을 계발하는 것이라고 주장한 로웬펠드의 주장에 의거하여 창의성의 시작을 미술교육과 연관지어 고찰해보았다. 성장기의 조형표현을 위한 교육은 예술교육, 특히 미술교육의 만들기 체험 등이 대표적이라고 할 수 있는데, 연구자는 그중에서 점토를 이용한 만들기 영역인 도예체험을 통해 성장단계에 맞는 학습지도계획안을 개발하고 이것으로 조형표현의 발상단계에서 공감각적 요인에 의한 변화와 그 과정을 관찰하였다. 그 결과 학습자들은 음악에 의한 공감각적 자극에 적극적으로 반응하여 표현의 변화를 보였는데, 이것은 체계적으로 공감각을 잘 연구하고 활용한다면 로웬펠드가 주장한 창의성의 여섯 가지 특성1)을 잘 보여주는 발상의 변화를 가져올 수 있다는 것을 의미한다고 사고되어졌다. 그런 이유에서 공감각을 이용한 발상의 변화를 미술교육현장에 적용시켜 창의적인 성장지점을 찾고자 하였으며, 작은 시작에 불과하지만 연구를 통해 그 성장에 도움이 되고자 하였다.

영문 초록

In today s society, it has become very important to appeal to each individual s creative individuality in order to imprint their image and get an opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities, and the formative art has faithfully played a role as a facilitator of this creativity development. Of course, creative individuality is also an important factor in the creative activities of plastic arts, especially in the stage of ideation for expression. Therefore, by applying the method of expression using synesthesia rather than the conventional method of formative expression using simple sense, I tried to study the parts of change that synesthetic stimulation can give to the process of thinking. In addition, the researcher applied and observed this synesthetic approach to learners in the educational field, because the philosophy of art, which has fundamentally pursued a personality different from others, has been realized in the educational field. And based on Rowenfeld s argument that the most important thing in art education is to develop creativity through art activities, the beginning of creativity was examined in relation to art education. The representative education for formative expression in the growth period is art education, especially art education making experience. As a result, the change and the process by synesthetic factors were observed at the stage of ideation of formative expression. As a result, learners actively responded to the synesthesia stimulation by music and showed changes in expression. means there is For this reason, we tried to find a creative growth point by applying the change of idea using synesthesia to the art education field.
