국문 초록

본 연구는 한국문학평론사에 소환되거나 호출된 적이 없었던 1960년대 평론가 김우정의 문학적 생애와 작품을 중심으로 평론가로서의 문학적 성과를 밝힌 것이다. 김우정은 1958년에 시집 『지옥과 태양의 시』를 내면서 시인으로 활동했다. 진실의 시적 창조자이고자 했던 그는, 신석정의 추천을 받은 「대화」로 『자유문학』을 통해 다시등단했으나 시인이 된 뒤에 평론가로 선회하였다. 여러 차례에 걸쳐 신춘문예에 도전한 끝에 1962년 <조선일보> 신춘문예에 평론이 당선됨으로써 평론가-되기를 실현하였다. 그는 1960년대의 『현대문학』의 주요 필진으로 활동했으나 문학 권력과는 거리가 있었고 『산문시대』를 중심으로 한 『문학과지성』, 『창작과비평』을 중심으로 서술했던 문학장 어디에도 속하지 않은 평론가였다. 그래서 문학 계보학이나 문학 권력, 상징투쟁 같은 역학 구도 바깥에 활동함에 따라 평론문학의 사적 전개에서 그의 이름을 찾을 수 없었다. 김우정의 경우를 보면 모든 작가와 작품이 연구대상이 될 수 없다는 것을 인정하더라고 역학 관계나 계보학적 체계에 속하지 않았던 작가들의 업적들에 대한 평가는 소홀히 할 수 없다는 것을 알 수 있다. 1960년대 4.19세대의 문학비평가로 문학적 역할을 성실하게 수행함으로써 평론가로서 적지 않은 성과를 남겼기때문이다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to reveal the literary achievements as a critic centering literary life and artworks of Woo-jung Kim in 1960s who has not been spotlighted in Korean literary criticism history.Woo-jung Kim s literary career began at the literary section of the Mokpo Public Commercial Middle School to be a poet, and he published the collection of poems, 『A poem in hell and sun』 in 1958 without going on the platform. He was formally trained to be a poet and wanted to be a true poetic creator by going on the platform with 「Conversation」. He realized to be a critic as the finding the reason for causeless thing by the selection on the annual spring literary contest of in 1962 after several tries on the annual spring literary contests after became a poet. Woo-jung Kim was a critic not belonging to literature field described centering 『Literature and Intelligence』 and 『Creation and Criticism』 centering 『Prose Era』 in 1960s. So, he was alienated in historical development of literary criticism because he worked at the outside of dynamic composition such as literary genealogy, literary power or symbolic struggle. There is need for historical literary historical approach to the dynamic composition in case of Woo-jung Kim. The evaluation for the achievements of the writers not involved in the dynamic relationship or genealogical system can not be neglected though it should be recognized that actually all writers and artworks can not be the target for research. It is because he leaved not a little achievements as a critic sincerely by implementing literary role as a literary critic as a 4.19 generation in 1960s.
