손영모의 『가사집』과 새로운 가사 작품 5편에 대하여

국문 초록

이 논문은 일제강점기 초기에 나온 손영모의 『가사집』을 발굴하여 소개한 것이다. 손영모의 『가사집』에는 가사 작품인 <훈사(訓辭)라>·<덕산완경가(德大山玩景 歌)>·<슈심가(愁心歌)>·<탄로가(嘆老歌)>·<완월가(玩月歌)>가 순서로 적혀 있었다. 이들 가사는 <슈심가>에 1916년도에 지었다는 후기를 통해 작품들이 이 시기를 전후로 창작되었던 것으로 유추하였다. 손영모의 가사 작품 5편은 다른 작품과 노래명이겹치기도 하지만 새로운 내용의 작품들이다. <훈사(訓辭)라>는 송명 이학의 관점에서 우주 만물의 이치와 원리가 우리 인간에게그대로 조응된다고 보는 교훈가사의 일종이다. 작자에 의하면 우리 인간은 천지 만물의 정기와 부모님의 은덕에 힘입어 태어났는 바, 마음 수양과 언행을 경계하는 가사작품이다. <덕산완경가(德大山玩景歌)>는 작자가 밀양 인근에 있는 덕대산을 다녀온 내용을 형상화한 기행가사의 일종이다. 전체적으로 그곳의 경치와 풍경보다는 역사적 사건이나 풍수적 관점에서 내재적으로 대상을 투시하는 경향이 강한 작품이었다. <슈심가(愁心歌)>는 작품 끝에 병진년(1916) 5월 25일에 지었다고 유일하게 창작연대를 밝혀놓은 작품이다. 손영모의 <슈심가>는 여성화자를 내세워 임과의 이별 후에 느끼는 상심을 담고 있다. 그런데 그의 <슈심가>는 기존의 작품과 달리, 달거리 노래 형식으로 한해의 열두 절후에 맞춰서 시적 자아의 슬픔에 찬 수심을 담아내는 규방가사의 일종이다. <탄로가(嘆老歌)>는 늙음과 죽음을 제재로 덧없는 인생무상을 아쉬워하고 탄식하는 자탄가사의 일종이다. <완월가(玩月歌)>는 여름 장마가 끝나가는 7월 보름인 ‘백종일’에 동산에 떠오르는보름달을 바라보면서 온갖 상념을 형상화한 풍류가사이다.

The main article is a paper that explores and introduces five pieces of lyrics from the early 1910s of Japanese colonial era. The author is Son Young-mo, and the collection of lyrics contains , , , , and according to the table of contents. If you look at the five pieces of the lyrics, the following is true. is a kind of lesson lyrics that shows view that the reason and principles of all things in space are adapted to our human beings. It is said that we humans should be careful of what we say and do in everything we do, as we were born thanks to the spirit of everything and the grace of our parents. “Deokdasan Wankyungga” is a travel song about the author’s journey to Deokdaesan Mountain near Miryang. Although the characteristics of this work include the road and the gate, it tends to focus on historical events or feng shui perspectives rather than scenery and scenery, and thus internal perspectives on objects are more likely. is a kind of gyubang lyrics that contains the writer’s heart after breaking up with Lim by using a female speaker. Unlike the existing work, Son Young-mo’s “Shushimga” has a feature that captures the sorrowful depth of the poetic self with a lunar song style that sings to the end of the year’s twelve verses. “Tan-ro” is a kind of self-praise that regrets and laments the fleeting freedom of life through sanctions against old age and death. “Wanwolga” is considered a folk song that embodies all kinds of thoughts while looking at the full moon rising in the garden on the fifteenth day of July when the summer rainy season is ending.
