국문 초록

프로이드는 전쟁체험을 그 일대의 세대들에게 ‘근원적인 원체험’이 되어 어떤 변형,어떤 발전으로 각색되면서 사람들의 일상의 자장을 이루게 되는데,이 과정을 방어기제라 보았다.그의 이론에 따르면 자아가 감당할 수 없는 스트레스에 쌓일 때 일단 심리적으로 보류시키는 방법으로써 사람들마다 자신에게 가장 합리적이고 편리하다고 생각되는 방어기제를 사용한다. 이러한 배경으로,본 연구는 한국전쟁을 체험한 시인들의 시세계를 비교·고찰하기위해서 서로 다른 원체험을 체득한 시인 김수영,신동엽,박인환의 방어기제를 중심으로 전쟁전후의 시세계 변모 과정을 탐색하고자 했다.이때 전쟁 원체험과 이를 표현하는 방식으로 프로이트의 ‘방어기제’ 이론과 안나 프로이드의 ‘방어기제 유형’을원용했다.그리고 분석과정은 시인별 전쟁체험을 습득하게 된 시간순으로 접근했다. 따라서 2장에서는 인민(의용)군으로 강제징집되었다가 탈출,거제도포로수용소에 수감되었던 김수영의 작품론을,3장에서는 민주청년동맹 선전부장과 국민방위군의 군인으로 양쪽 진영의 실상을 몸소 체험했던 신동엽 작품론을,4장에서는 한국전쟁 발발 시 서울 지하에 숨어있다가 대구로 피난간 후 종군작가단에 합류한 박인환 작품론을 다루었다. 물론 본 연구에서 다루고자 하는 것처럼 한국전쟁과 그에 이어지는 분단체험이 그당시의 시와 시인연구에 있어서 중요한 부분임에는 틀림없지만,‘한국전쟁을<내용의층위>로 온전히 환원한다는 것은 문제가 있다’는 우려도 있을 수 있다.그러나 전후시대의 문학연구에 있어서 새로운 접근방법의 필요적 측면에서 전쟁체험 양상별 방어기제의 발현이라는 미시적 접근분석으로 의의를 두고자 한다.

영문 초록

Sigmund Freud theorizes that War experience becomes “underlying trauma” to the contemporary and affects their daily life, with variations and development as a defense mechanism. According to this theory, when the “ego” is under stress that it cannot handle, an individual uses a defense mechanism that is most rational and convenient to themselves as a psychological strategy to shelve the stress. Against this background, this study aimed to explore the transformation of the clock system before and after the Korean War, focusing on the defense mechanisms of poets Kim Soo-young, Shin Dong-yeop, and Park In-hwan, who each experienced different traumas, in order to compare the poetry world of poets who underwent the Korean War. In this study, Sigmund Freud’s “defense mechanism” theory and Anna Freud’s “defense mechanism type” were used in expressing the trauma experienced during the War. The analysis process followed a chronological order in which the poets experienced the War. Accordingly, the second chapter focused on the work theory of Kim Soo-young, who was forcibly conscripted into the North Korean Army, escaped and was locked up in Geoje Prison. The third chapter focused on the work theory of Shin Dong-yeop, who used to the reality of both camps as a propaganda director of the Democratic Youth Alliance and a soldier of the National Defense Forces. The fourth chapter focused on the work theory of Park In-hwan, who hid in the basement of Seoul at the outbreak of the Korean War, was evacuated to Daegu, and joined the War writers’ group. As in this study, the Korean War and the subsequent individual experiences were an important part of research on poetry and poets at the time, but concerns that “it is problematic to fully return the Korean War to the ’level of content’” could exist. However, this study aimed to show the significance of aspects of a new approach to postwar literature study, such as the micro-approach analysis of the emergence of defense mechanisms for each aspect of war experience.
