학문 문식성(disciplinary literacy)의 의미와 중등교육에의 시사점

국문 초록

이 논문은 우선 학문 문식성의 개념을 심리적 접근 및 사회문화적 접근을 토대로규정했는데,이때 학업 문식성과 비교하며 의미를 점검하였다.그리고 중등학교에서학문 문식성 접근을 취할 때 마주하는 어려움에 대해 짚고,중등 예비교사 교육에서대비할 수 있는 지점에 대해 논하였다.현재 사범대학의 교육과정 중에는 교과 논리및 논술 교과목이 있는데,이 교과목은 “각 교과별 특성에 부합되는 논리적 사고의근본 법칙 및 논술에 관한 교육에 역점을 둔다.”로 설정되어 있다.현재는 이 교과목의 정체성이 모호한 상황인데,교과가 토대로 하는 학문 문식성을 바탕으로 ‘교과 논리 및 논술’이 재정립될 수 있음을 논하였고,관련하여 어떤 연구가 가능한지 제언하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, we reviewed the meaning of disciplinary literacy based on a psychological and sociocultural approach. This meaning was also compared with academic literacy. In addition, we identified the difficulties encountered when taking a disciplinary literacy approach for teaching and learning in secondary schools, and possible ways to deal with the difficulties in terms of pre-service teacher education. Currently, in the curriculum of the College of Education, the syllabus of the course called Logic and Writing in a Subject explains that it deals with fundamental principles of logical thinking and writing that are consistent with the characteristics of each subject. At present, the identity of this course is ambiguous but can be re-established based on the disciplinary literacy on which the subject is based. We also suggest what kind of research needs to be done in the future in relation to disciplinary literacy education.
