국문 초록

이 논문은 인문교양 교육 다변화를 위한 시도의 하나로 개발한 교과목 운영 사례에대한 것이다.이 논문에서는 교과목 개발 취지와 목표,수업 설계,수업 내용과 방법, 그리고 수강생 평가와 만족도를 바탕으로 한 개선 방안을 소개함으로써 인문교양 교육 혹은 융·복합교양 교육의 설계에 관심 있는 연구자들에게 필요한 정보를 제공하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 개발한 교과목은 경기도 소재 대학교의 인문교양 영역에 설강한 것으로,교과목 개발에는 4명의 교수자가 참여하였다.지식 융합 및 통합적 사고 능력,자기주도 학습 능력,리터러시 능력의 함양을 교과목의 목표로 하였다.교과목은<인문#>라는 교과명 아래 주제적 친연성을 갖는 두 개의 교과목을 페어링 과목으로 개발하고 교수자의 팀티칭과 학습자의 교차수강이 이루어질 수 있도록 설계하였다.한 명의 교수자는 8주 단위의 수업을 담당하며,주제에 대한 다학문적 접근을 시도하였다. 학습자는 각자의 관심과 흥미에 따라 전반기 수강 이후에 페어링 교과목 내에서 후반기 수업을 자유롭게 선택할 수 있도록 하였다. 페어링된 교과목 간의 유기적 연계,교수자 간 긴밀한 협력과 소통,평가에서의 유연성이 확보된다면 인문 융·복합 교양교육의 바람직한 모델로 자리매김할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study covers the case of the course management developed for the diversification of liberal arts education in humanities. The purpose of this study is to provide necessary information for researchers interested in the design of liberal arts education in humanities or convergence liberal arts education by introducing the purpose and objectives of course development, instruction design, instruction content and methods, and improvement measures based on student evaluation and satisfaction. The course developed in this study was established in the liberal arts area of the humanities faculty at a University in Gyeonggi-do by four instructors. The course aimed to cultivate the knowledge convergence, integrated thinking, self-directed learning, and literacy ability. The course was developed so that two subjects with thematic relevance could be paired under the course title and designed to facilitate instructors’ team-teaching and learners’ cross-course. One instructor was in charge of eight weeks of instruction and attempted a multidisciplinary approach to the subject. Learners were allowed to freely select classes in the second half of the paired subjects of their choice after taking the first half. If the organic linkage between the paired subjects, close cooperation and communication between instructors, and flexibility in evaluation are well secured, this course will be able to establish itself as a desirable model for liberal arts education.
