교육실습에서 국어과 예비교사가 겪는 수업의 어려움과 그에 대한 대응

국문 초록

본 연구는 미래 교육을 이끌 인재로서 예비교사의 존재를 주목하고,그들을 대상으로 협력적 멘토링을 적용한 교육실습 프로그램을 실행해 국어과 예비교사가 수업 실천 중 겪는 어려움과 그에 대응하는 양상을 분석하는 질적 사례연구이다. 본 프로그램의 공동 멘토는 국어교과교육학 전공 지도 교수,중학교 국어 담당 지도 교사이며,멘티는 국어교육과 4학년에 재학 중인 2명의 예비교사이다.이들은 상호평등한 관계를 지향하며 수업의 어려움에 초점을 두고 반성적 멘토링을 나누었다. 이로써 멘티들은 수업 설계·실행의 반복적 경험과 그 실천에 대한 반성을 토대로 수업의 문제를 주체적으로 인식하고 해결하는 능력을 기를 수 있었다. 코로나19라는 변수로 불확실성과 불안정성이 더 강해진 학교 현장,예비교사들은그 속에서도 ‘학생들을 위한 더 나은 수업’에 대한 고민을 성실히 해주었다.본 연구는그들의 실천과 반성에 대한 이야기이자,교육적 효과성을 갖춘 예비교사교육 프로그램의 개발을 위한 하나의 제언이다.

영문 초록

Pre-service teachers(PST) are key talents who will lead future education., and this study focuses on their existence. We implemented an educational practicum program for PSTs using collaborative mentoring. Using this program, this study qualitatively analyzed a case study on the difficulties experienced by pre-service Korean language teachers in the class and their coping patterns. The co-mentors of this program are the supervisor of the Korean language education major and the Korean language teacher working at a middle schools. The mentees are two PSTs in the 4th grade of Korean language education. Participants in this study pursued an equal relationship and shared reflective mentoring with a focus on the difficulties in class. The results showed that the mentees were able to develop the ability to independently recognize and solve problems in class based on repetitive experiences and reflection of class design and execution. In the education field, uncertainty and instability became stronger due to COVID-19. Nevertheless, in this situation, the PSTs sincerely contemplated “better classes for students.” This study outlines their practice and reflection, and provides suggestions for the development of an effective PST education program.
