국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 코로나19로 인해 시작된 온라인 개학 상황에서 학생,학부모,교사 각각의 디지털 리터러시 역량이 구체적으로 어떻게 드러나고 있는지를 살펴보고, 기존 역량 요인들의 한계와 개선점을 탐색해 재개념화 필요성과 그 방향을 제안하고자 하는 것이다.이를 위해 현재의 매체 환경을 반영하는 디지털 리터러시 역량 평가요인들을 바탕으로 온라인 개학 상황을 언론 기사를 통해 분석하였다.연구 결과,온라인 개학 초기에 수업에 필요한 기본적인IT인프라의 실패가 두드러졌고,특히 저학년 학생들과 교사의 접근과 생산 역량 부족이 크게 확인됐다.수업 및 전후의 소통과정에서의 학생,교사,학부모 각각의 참여와 윤리 역량 또한 낮은 수준인 것으로 나타났다.무엇보다도 각 가정의 계급 격차가 기존의 역량 요인들을 모두 무력화시킬 만큼 큰 영향력을 발휘하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다.이를 통해 디지털 리터러시는 일상공간으로서 온라인 공간에서 생활하는데 필요한 문화와 관련된 보편적 능력으로, 계급 관련 변수들을 고려하여 그로 인한 공백과 사각지대를 줄이고 보완하는 방향으로 재개념화되어야 함을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine how each student, parent, and teacher s digital literacy competencies are revealed in the online school opening situation caused by COVID-19, and explore the limitations and improvements of former competency factors to suggest the need and direction of reconceptulization. In this paper, we analyze the situation of online school opening through news articles based on digital literacy competency factors that reflect the current media environment. Results show that the failure of the basic IT infrastructure required for classes was salient in the early days of online school opening. Especially it is confirmed that the degree of access and creation competencies of the lower grades and teachers is very low. The participation and ethical competences of each student, teacher, and parent in the communication process before and after class is also found to be at a low level. Above all, This study reveals that the class gaps between the rich and poor family are deadly enough to neutralize all existing competency factors. Considering all these results, digital literacy should be reconceptualized to be a universal ability related to the culture needed to live in online space and reduce and supplement gaps and blind spots resulting from class-related variables.
