실용문 用例集 『卞正文』 연구

국문 초록

이 논문은 書誌 정보와 異本 비교를 중심으로 실용문 用例集 『卞正文』의 특징을 살펴본 것이다. 첫째, 『변정문』은 필사자의 취향에 따라 다양한 종류의 문서로 구성되었다. 필사본 용례집은 수요자의 필요나 취향에 따라 지속적으로 傳寫되었는데 『변정문』에는 일부 제목에 점이 표시되어 있어서 2차 편집본이 생산되었을 사실을 확인할 수 있다. 둘째, 한문 학습 과정에서 첨가된 내용이 있다. 일부 문서에 구두점이 표시되어 있고, 상대적으로 어려운 한자의 음과 의미를 풀이했다. 추가된 목차와 면수는 학습 과정에서 작성된 것이다. 셋째, 모두 실용적인 목적으로 작성된 모범 문서들이다. 所志, 通文, 等狀, 單子, 簡札 등 다양한 갈래의 문서가 포함되어 있다. 이들은 모두 소송, 면역, 세금 등 현실의 문제 해결하기 위한 목적으로 쓴 글이다. 넷째, 소지 형식의 문서가 많은데 대부분 실제로 관청에 제출한 것이고 문학적으로 가공된 글은 거의 없다. 문학적인 표현, 고사 인용, 수사법, 주석을 통해 실용적 글쓰기 능력을 배양할 수 있다. 다섯째, 『변정문』은 『隨聞錄』, 『全州營吏尋妻狀』과 가까운 이본이다. 동일한 문서들을 수록하고 있는 것은 전북지역을 기반으로 문서가 생산되고 유통되었기 때문이다. 『변정문』은 필사 시기를 추정할 수 있는 정보를 포함하고 있어서 향후 비교 연구의 바탕을 제공할 것이다.

영문 초록

This thesis observes characteristics of 『Byun Jung Moon』, which is a practical text collection, focusing on comparisons of bibliography information and different versions. First, 『Byun Jung Moon』 consisted of various types of documents according to transcriber tastes. Manuscript text collections were steadily transcribed according to user needs and tastes but dots were marked on some of the titles in 『Byun Jung Moon』, confirming that a secondary edit would have been produced. Second, some contents were added during Chinese character learning processes. Punctuation marks were made on some documents and explanations were given on relatively difficult Chinese sounds and meanings. The added table of contents and pages were written during learning processes. Third, all were exemplary documents for practical purposes. Documents of various sections were included such as petitions, circulars, group petitions, danja, and old vernacular letters. These were all texts written to resolve realistic problems such as litigation, immunity, and taxation. Fourth, there are many documents in soji form but most were actual submissions to government offices and there were hardly any texts processed literarily. Practical writing skills can be cultivated through literary expressions, test quotations, investigative methods, and fine notes. Fifth, 『Byun Jung Moon』 is a different version that is similar to 『Soomoonrok』 and 『Jeonju Youngshim Cheojang』. The same documents were included because documents were produced and distributed based from the Jeonbuk area. As 『Byun Jung Moon』 includes information through which transcription timings can be estimated, it will provide grounds for future comparative studies.
