간호학 학사학위 프로그램 학습성과에 대한 교육요구도

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 졸업학년인 간호대학생을 대상으로 간호학 학사학위 프로그램 학습성과 중요도와 성취도를 확인하고 교육요구도를 분석하고자 함이다. 연구 대상은 8개 대학 졸업예정자인 3,4학년 간호대학생 308명이며, 2013년 11월 20일부터 12월 15일까지 설문조사를 활용하여 서술적 조사 연구를 시행하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, t-test와 ANOVA로 분석하였고, 교육요구도는 Borich의 공식을 활용하여 산출하였다. 연구 결과 대상자는 12개의 간호학 학사학위 프로그램 학습성과(program outcome, PO) 중 핵심기본간호술 수행(PO2)을 가장 중요하게 인지하고 높은 성취도를 보였으며 간호연구 수행능력(PO11)과 비판적 사고(PO6)의 교육요구도가 높았다. 간호학 학사학위 프로그램 학습성과 중요도는 간호학 이론교육의 만족도에 따라, 성취도는 성별과 학년에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 교육요구도는 여학생이 남학생보다 높고 여학생은 간호연구 수행능력(PO11), 남학생은 간호전문직 표준 이해(PO7)에 대한 요구가 높았다. 직전 학기 성적이 ‘2.0-2.99’군은 핵심기본간호술 수행(PO2), 임상실습 만족도가 낮은 군에서는 간호전문직 표준 이해(PO7)의 교육요구도가 높았다. 따라서 본 연구 결과의 일반적 특성을 반영하여 12개의 간호학 학사학위 프로그램 학습성과를 적용하고 달성할 수 있도록 다양한 교과외 활동과 성과기반 교육과정 개발 및 운영이 필요하겠다.

영문 초록

This study aims to examine the educational need of program outcomes among nursing students. The subject of this study consisted of 308 nursing students in their graduating class, from 8 different universities. Data were collected from November 20, to December 15, 2013. Collected data were analysed using descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANOVA on SPSS win 18.0. The Borich formula was used to derive results of educational needs of program outcomes. They were perceived the most important nursing program outcome (PO) on core nursing practice (PO2) and higher score in the achievement of PO2. Additionally, they showed a higher score of educational need for nursing research (PO11), and critical thinking (PO6). Based on the satisfaction of nursing theory curriculum, the program outcome, importance, and achievements showed significant difference by gender and grade. Female students showed greater educational needs than the male students, and they also showed to have higher nursing research (PO11), whereas male students showed greater interest in general understanding of nursing profession (PO7). Students whose previous semester grade was in between ‘2.0-2.99’ tended to demand more of the core nursing practice (PO2), and the group with low satisfaction scores in clinical experiences showed demanded more of the general understanding of nursing profession (PO7). According to the results, we expect the outcome-based nursing curriculum and extra-curriculum activity for nursing students developed by this study.
