格助詞｢に｣の意味と用法に関する研究

국문 초록

本稿は日本語の格助詞｢に｣の意味と用法に関する研究で、これまでは格助詞｢に｣に関する研究より、格助詞｢で｣と｢に｣或は｢に｣と｢へ｣の対照研究の一環として多く行われており、格助詞｢に｣のみの意味と用法に関する研究は意外と少ない。あるとしても主に｢場所｣｢時間｣｢帰着点｣｢原因｣｢目的｣｢対象｣などのごく限られた用法しか考察されておらず、実際の日本語の文で格助詞｢に｣がどれだけ多様な用法で広範囲に用いられているかが見逃されている実情である。 それだけでなく、上記の6分類の用法もあまりにも単純すぎて、｢場所｣ だけの例を挙げてみても森羅万象の無数の｢場所｣の意味を全部一つの大きなカテゴリーの中に無理に入れてしまい、却って意味分類が曖昧になってしまった点もあった。ゆえに本稿では日本語学習者の理解を助けるため既存の曖昧な意味分類をより細かく多様に分類した。また、これまでの格助詞｢に｣の意味と用法の研究の大部分は、述語との関連性を重視して述語の意味内容がどう変わるかによって意味․用法も変わっていくという述語中心の研究が多かった。しかし本稿では既存の述語中心説を認めながらもそれに加えて格助詞｢に｣の前に付く名詞句の性質の違いによっても多様な用法が出てくるのでその両方を取り入れた観点で説明した方がより効果的だと思いその立場で考察をした。

영문 초록

This paper is a study of the meaning and usage of the case marker NI. There have been many studies of the Japanese case marker NI, but most of them are concerned with differences of usage between NI and DE, so there are few that deal with the meaning and usage of NI itself. Even such studies as do exist have been focused mainly on very limited usages such as “place”, “time”, “point of origin”, “cause”, “purpose”, “object”, etc., overlooking how widely the case marker NI is used in Japanese sentences. Furthermore, the six usages mentioned above were so simple that countless meanings of “place” were only considered as one broad category, and the meaning classification became ambiguous. Therefore, in this paper, the existing ambiguous semantic classification is re‐classified in more detail and variety to explain it easily to Japanese learners. In addition, there have been many predicate‐centered studies in which most of the semantic usages of the case marker NI are related to predicates, and the meaning and usage vary depending on how the meaning content of the predicate changes. However, in recognition of the existing predicate‐central theories, this paper considers it from the standpoint of accepting both sides because various uses also appear in the differences in the characteristics of noun phrases attached to the case marker NI.
