3단계 무관질문모형에 의한 드문 민감한 속성의 확률비례 추정

국문 초록

최근 Land et al.(2011)은 무관질문모형을 활용하여 드문 민감한 속성(rare sensitive attributes)을 가지고 있는 사람들의 수 평균을 추정하는 방법으로 포아송분포를 이용하는 방안을 제안하였다. 그들은 드문 민감한 속성과 드문 무관한 속성을 이용하여 드문 민감한 속성에 대한 정보를 얻어내고 있다. 본 연구에서는 조사하고자 하는 내용이 매우 민감하고 모집단이 크기가 서로 차이가 있는 집락으로 구성되어 있을 때, 집락의 크기를 고려하여 추출확률을 부여하는 확률비례추출법을 Land et al.(2011)이 사용한 무관질문모형 대신에 3단계 무관질문모형에 적용하여 드문 민감한 속성을 효율적으로 추정하는 방법을 제안하였다. 드문 무관한 속성의 모비율을 알 때, 확률비례 추출 및 등확률 2단계 추출법을 적용하여 드문 민감한 속성에 대한 추정량과 그 분산 및 분산추정량을 구하였다. 그리고 확률비례 복원추출법과 확률비례 비복원추출법에 의해 얻어진 드문 민감한 속성의 추정량과 등확률 2단계 추출법에 의해 얻어진 드문 민감한 속성의 추정량간의 효율성을 비교하였다. 그 결과 집락의 크기가 서로 차이가 있을 때는 확률비례복원추출에 의한 추정이 등확률 복원 2단계 추출에 의한 추정보다 효율이 높아짐을 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Land et al. (2011) have suggested a method to estimate the mean number of persons possessing a rare sensitive attribute by utilizing the Poisson distribution in survey sampling. They obtain information about a rare sensitive attribute through unrelated question randomized response model which is made of a rare sensitive and unrelated attribute. In this paper, we suggest an efficient method of estimating a rare sensitive attribute by using three-stage unrelated randomized response model instead of the Land et al.’s model (2011) when the population consists of some different sized clusters and clusters are selected by probability proportional to size (pps) sampling. Under the assumption that the parameter of a rare unrelated attribute is known, we estimate the parameter of a rare sensitive attribute and it’s variance and variance estimator. We compare the efficiency of our suggested pps estimation method with equal probability two-stage sampling method and ascertain that the estimation by pps with replacement is more efficiency than equal probability two-stage sampling with replacement.
