국문 초록

교사는 학교 교육의 혁신과 변화에 필수적인 핵심 수행자이며, 수업전문성은 교사의 다양한 역할 중 가장 고유하고 중요한 전문성으로서 다양한 연구자에 의해 주목받아 연구되어왔다. 이에 본 연구는 교사의 전문성을 어떤 관점에서 이해해야 하는지 규명하기 위해 수업전문성에 관한 기존의 다양한 관점을 분류하고, 각 관점의 의의와 한계를 비판적으로 분석하였다. 그 결과, 교사의 수업전문성에 관한 관점은 행동 중심 관점, 지식 중심 관점, 판단 중심 관점, 성찰 중심 관점으로 나누어 살펴볼 수 있었다. 이들 관점은 탁월한 수업을 위한 교사의 능력 요소를 개별적으로 드러내준다는 점에서 의의가 있었으나, 오늘날의 급격하게 변화하는 현대사회 및 교육환경의 특성을 반영하지 못한다는 한계점이 있었다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 수업전문성의 기존 관점의 대안적 관점으로 적응적 전문성 개념을 제시하고, 적응적 전문성 관점의 필요성과 특징을 논의하였다. 이러한 논의를 바탕으로 향후 수업전문성 연구와 수업전문성 개발을 위한 시사점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Teachers are key performers essential to the innovation and transformation of school education, and teaching expertise is the most unique and important specialty of the teacher s diverse roles and has been studied with attention by various researchers. This study comprehensively analyzed and critically reconstructed the existing perspectives on teaching expertise to find out from what perspective the professionalism of teachers should be understood. The teacher s perspective on teaching professionalism was divided into behavior-oriented perspective, knowledge-oriented perspective, judgment-oriented perspective, and reflection-oriented perspective. This was significant in that it reveals the individual elements of the teacher s ability to excellent teaching. But It has the limitation that it does not reflect the characteristics of today s rapidly changing modern social environment. As an alternative to the existing view of teaching expertise, this study suggested an adaptive expertise perspective. Accordingly, the concept of adaptive expertise and the characteristics of teaching expertise from the adaptive expertise perspective were discussed. Based on these discussions, suggestions for future study of teaching expertise and development of teaching expertise were presented.
